Tin the wires
Have a soldering iron. Easy-to-use but the wires need to be tinned to make sure that the tiny strands are not able to short across the pins. Solid quality.

Decent quality and value for money
Needed to pass a VGA cable being used for data through a conduit. Could not use the pre-molded cable that came with the solar inverters as the plugs don't fit down the conduit and were too short. Bought a length of 16 core 22AWG wire and used these for the female ends. They are a bit finicky to get right but I have had some experience so used my telco strippers and ethernet wire tools to get the result shown in the photo. Very pleased with this and would buy again for similar installation.

Works as expected
I used this in an electronics project where I built a video card from scratch. Worked as expected. Was packaged well.

It works.
Convenient package for connecting a VGA display to a breadboard, however, the green thing to hold the wires in feels like its very likely to snap off. May be I am tightening the screws too much, but I do not think so. Also, the package is kind of small. I do not know if that is bad or good but I was under the impression it was bigger. Just a peculiar thought on my part.

Much better quality than the other brand I bought
I got this item and another similar, cheaper DB15 breakout board. This one feels like the quality control on it is much better than the other one. I assume the other one was just a defective product that if you got a good one, it would be fine. Cosmetically, it looks almost the same except that this one has a blue DB15 port and the other one was white. These breakout boards definitely make DB15 to USB conversions much easier.If this one were the price of the other one, I would give it 5 stars. As it is, I feel like it's a bit pricey, but it worked fine and made my project simpler and faster.
