ACCEL 9070C Extreme 9000 Spark Plug Wire Set Ceramic Boot

These spark plug wires are awesome for turbo LS projects. They WILL NOT burn up. I had a back pressure problem with too small of a turbo. I had extremely high exhaust temps (has been resolved. Too small exhaust housing on the turbo causing overheating) I added some heat boots to them and haven't had a single problem. My exhaust temps were so hot that it melted the oil cap! 😲 These held up through it all! The white part is glass. Almost like porcelain. It is not flexible at all. They fit perfect except one I had to make a custom wire for because of the forward facing manifolds and oil dipstick.

I purchased this set for my 2007 Suburban 5.3L. I have Kooks headers installed and these work perfect. They have the correct angle and are the right length to keep them away from the header pipes. I just lost a wire from my last set due to heat even though the boot was protected with a sleeve. The wires on that set were 12" long. When one of the boot sleeves touched a header pipe, the boot got fried and that cylinder started to misfire. It was a costly mistake, wires and sleeves cost almost twice this set, that could have been prevented with a cable tie. The length on this set is 10" which is more than long enough. I was hesitant based on other reviews that said they were too short, but I needed a better solution and the 2000 degree boot sounded perfect. I had no problems with wire length. Installation was easy and each end of the wires went on with a satisfying click letting me know they are secure.

I posted a photo, I ran these for MAYBE 7500 miles in 2 year span. First plug change on the car and the boot and wire just came apart. From day 1 installing these I could tell these would not last! My MSD plug wires half the price lasted 3 years and zero issues!

I have a 2006 TBSS with and LS2 and Pacesetter long tube headers (with thermal ceramic coating), which don't let you use stock plug wires because of space issues. Even expensive aftermarket wires with heat socks were getting cooked because of the header heat, especially on the even cylinders, causing misfires. I swapped these in for the 2 misfiring cylinders, and the ceramic part just touched the header on #2 or #4 (I forget which), but it doesn't matter - these things just take the heat - no heat socks needed (at least not for my issue). They have a nice positive "snap" that lets you know it's on the plug, too.After $5k and 6 months in upgrades, I wish I would have bought these from the start of my "project". And they were just about the same price or less as the other ones that melted, once the heat sock costs are factored in. If you've got a similar heat problem, I'd highly recommend them.

I’m in my second pair of these badass wires due to my first set having a couple of the wires falling apart (a couple morons pulled on the cables instead of the boots) and I swear by these since they do an excellent job reflecting the heat away from the plugs. I have long tube headers installed that are cerakoted but still give off a stupid amount of heat and these guys don’t even sweat. My buddy has a built block H/C/I boosted with meth and loves them too.

Otherwise they look good. Probably works even with the crack but they should send an extra sparkplug wire with eatch package if one brakes during transport. fitment was 3/5. Not fun to buy 8 more new just because one was cracked but i will see if it missfires with the cracked one. it is past 30 day also. Any guarante from manufacture?

Best plug wires I've owned. I had them in my CTS-V and just installed them on my C7 Corvette.

I have no precise proof of enhancement but they look and feel very well made. They are long for my 08 Escalade 6.2. Like .5 inch longer than stock. I simply rotated the connector on the coil 90 degrees to allow for some length. Clean install and looks gr8.
