Comfy for workouts and outdoor stuff
I didn’t these for running, but rather for workouts and outdoors stuff like camping, kayaking, litigation hikes as they transition from one to another easily. Great for TRX and HIIT and even weights, as well.

Not sure of durability, but they are comfortable and inexpensive.
I have only had these for a short time. But I've worn them on a few 3-5 miles walks. I absolutely love them. They are close to waking barefoot without the pain of hot pavement or sandspurs. Extremely comfortable.

Excellent shoes at the $30-$40 price range
Love these shoes for the price point. I can always find someone to pick about with shoes, so don't let the minus 1 start fool youI picked up my 1st pair of Whitin's just over a year ago and I still wear them. Just before that I started with another even cheaper version from another manufacturer. For the price point, I didn't know if you can get better, but yes you can get better.Pros:• durable enough to wear daily for a year+ and not wear out• inexpensive• very comfortable• true to size• all the normal barefoot benefitsCons:• they come with a minimally raised heel insole, hence not true zero drop, but close. Regardless, I prefer thinner and zero drop, so I take them out and put in a cheap pair of cotton or other barefoot style insole. I really wish they would come up with a version with thinner zero drop insoles, as it would probably save them and me money.• I'd love to see a puncture proof sole. I've never puncture these yet, but I am confident they're not puncture proof.• I would love it if they improved the inner lining beneath the insole. I often would just like to have no insole at all, but the stitching and materials inside, while useable, are clearly not intended for this purpose, leaving room for improvement. All in all, I would and have recommended these to many. For this price, you should say least try out barefoot shoes, and the "beginner insoles" they come with might be a pro for you if you're new to this style. I've purchased 4 total now, when I find them on sale for even better price points, 1 for my wife 1 for keeping a clean pair, and for when I wear out my original pair.I will buy again, but I also may look for an upgrade to these if they don't have newer options when my next time for replacement comes.

Comfortable
These shoes are fantastic! Very nice looking and comfortable. The cost was so nice compared to the name brands that are quite expensive. The fit is a little large but I would be afraid if you went down in size, they would be too snug.

Pretty durable…!
Excellent shoes for long walks on the treadmill! The soles are very durable and hardly any signs of it thinning out.

Narrower than before
First purchased in 2021 when looking for an affordable outdoor barefoot shoe w/ a very wide toebox. (I’m about 4.25” wide!). They felt amazing from 1st wear w/ enough width that I could get full splay & be comfortable. After 3 years or workouts, walks on the beach, yard work, etc the ankle strap broke. 😢 I purchased the pink pair (photo) in 2024. Also wide / comfortable. In 2025, I decided to get black again so I could rotate them. They are *noticeably* narrower (& a bit shorter). I feel pressure on the sides & tops of my feet. I suspect this is shrinkflation—attempting to save just a bit of $ from reducing a bit fabric / plastic / rubber/velcro/whatever. Most people may not notice, but those of us with wide feet sure will. Ugh!! Going up a size would be too long and a tripping hazard. Super unfortunate. These were one of the only Whitins truly wide enough to be called barefoot shoes, IMO. Going to see if I can ignore the discomfort while wearing them around the house today, but I fear they’re going to be returned though they are probably better than most exceedingly narrow shoes. (Why do we allow shoes which are physical hindrance to proper movement??) Maybe I need to take a shoe making class!

Comfortable. Easy to put on.
This is my 3rd pair of Whitin barfoot shoes. Each a different style. I am 71. I have neuropathy and flat feet so I was wary of this type of foorware initally but after the first pair (tied, laced) I was sold. The 2nd pair are slip on. This pair are very nice and have great tread for outdoors on grass and such. I think they look great also. Added plus is they are laced but have velcro strap which makes them easy to get on. I have sneakers and other footware and each has their place of use.

Great Purchase
Great shoes, comfortable, and the size is a true fit. They support my arch and are easy to put on and take off, and the color is great.
