Very fresh

It reminds me when I was a kid in Germany. My grandmother always had them on the bed for me and my brothers when we came down to visit.

Great mix of wafers and chocolate and the new packaging is even better, two per pack, so they stay fresh. The big 10-packs always turned stale fast. Check the expiration date though, the box I got is expiring mid October, which shows that the product has been around the block for a while. Usually, fresh new product should last at least 12 months, they do taste still good, but I hope I'm not ending up with stale wafers in a couple of weeks. Too expensive to toss and I can't eat the whole box in a month.

My husband is from Germany, and these cookies was very popular. He hasn't had them in a long time. I seen he posted about how good they are, and decided I would look for them for him. They are pricey, but he is worth it. I tried them, and they are good, but a little too sweet for me. They won't go to waste though. I just love the timely matter that I get my order. I have ordered quite a lot of stuff from Amazon, and very pleased.Thank you for your speedy delivery.

The Hanuta wafers are fresh, arrived very fast and as always delicious.

If you were born and raised in Germany, you won't like these. The taste is not the same at all. The chocolate filling is very soft and tastes like it's been mixed with too much food grade wax. In other words, they didn't use quality chocolate.
