Boost of energy, best sleep I've had in years.
I add it to my morning fruit drinks, gives me great energy throughout the day and I sleep like a baby. I lay down and sleep ensues like it hasn't in years! Thank you earth and God for this amazing root!

This batch is not very fine, making it a little more cumbersome to capsule.
Hopefully this review reaches the seller. I have been buying this brand of Ashwaganda for a lengthy period of time. This batch is different than I’ve received previously. It is not as fine as previously. This adds some challenges when filling capsules. It’s too early to say how it will perform. The supplier is definitely different than in the past. I will give it 4 stars for now and will hopefully come back to change it.

Potent product but women beware
This taught me to research every documented effect of a supplement before I start taking it. So, look, I gave 5 stars because it is obviously potent and a true and honest product, but it should really come with a hormonal warning. After a couple weeks, my first sign was I was angry all the time and I didn't know why. Like violent thoughts for minor problems angry. Then I missed my period- which didn't come back until a month after I stopped taking this btw, so 2 1/2 months skipped. My head hair started falling out a little in the shower. But I didn't put it together until I started growing this baby blonde moustache on my upper and lower lip, and even a few sparse blonde hairs on my cheek like it was shaping up to be a beard someday. I know that even some AFAB women naturally get facial hair but this was extremely abnormal for me, I'm in my mid 20s and this never happened before. So I did some research and apparently, while a lot of sites claim that ashwaghanda is "hormone balancing", several medical studies found it raises DHEA, an androgen. This is good for men who want more vitality I guess, but it can produce undesirable effects for women. Elevated DHEA in women will cause symptoms similar to PCOS, or aggravate them in women who have it already. This is why it should have a warning of some kind imo. But I won't take off stars because I didn't do thorough enough research before purchasing. Positive things I will say is that it did reduce my autoimmune arthritis inflammation, and it definitely does raise your libido if that's what you are seeking. Just be cautious.

Great taste
I've been using Anthony's Organic Ashwagandha Powder for a short while now and am pleasantly surprised by the taste. It's much milder than I expected. I'm incorporating it into my daily routine and looking forward to experiencing its potential benefits. The powder seems to be of good quality, and I appreciate that it's gluten-free and batch-tested.

Ashwagandha works for many purposes, but use with caution if you take thyroid meds
I began using this herb for many reasons as it has been shown to reduce anxiety, increase thyroid function, decrease cortisol among many others. I notified my physician of this herb which he was unfamiliar with and asked for labs to check thyroid function as I was already taking synthroid for hypothyroidism. This product helped my anxiety tremendously, however after a few weeks I began to experience unpleasant symptoms of hyperthyroidism. I have currently stopped my prescription thyroid medication and am having bloodwork rechecked in several weeks to see if this alone is enough to keep my thyroid levels in balance. My hope is to be off prescription thyroid medication for good and only use this herb for my hypothyroidism. Most physicians are not familiar with the power of herbal supplements, and because dosages are not regulated it does become a bit of a science project for the patient to determine what works for them. I encourage people with a thyroid issue to closely monitor their bloodwork when adding a supplement like this to ensure they get it right, and it should be rechecked at various intervals until dosage can be adequately adjusted. I have used several validated clinical studies to come up with my dosage and encourage others to do the same. It can then be tailored depending on your response and blood levels. In summary, this herb WORKED for me for anxiety and thyroid issues, but I am still in the process of getting the dosage right for me.
