YOU GOTTA TRY THIS PEDAL!
I have three or four synthesizer/voice-generating pedals, and the MO-2 is the only one that gets a spot on my small pedal board. I get organ voices that sound better than the synth organs on the Boss SY-200 (tone and detune at 10:00, Mode 1, and you've got a pretty good B3). You can goose up lovely fat tones for chords as well as solos. There's an excellent demo on the Boss site, with good suggestions for shaping your sound. The MO-2 is great in front of your OD, and it's the first pedal in my signal chain. If you're looking to broaden your sound, this is definitely worth a look.

My new favorite pedal
This pedal offers so many possibilities. The tracking is great. The organ tones are fantastic. In general it pretty much always sounds good. Was looking for something to add more sound and atmosphere to my arpeggios and chords as I recently got a decent octave pedal that just doesn’t handle polyphonic tracking fast enough that I’m now gonna return. If you want a pure octave this may not be for you but if you want something that will completely transform your sound into something original and awesome give this a shot. The only downside is that different settings can sound uniquely different to the point I wish it could save them and cycle between a few but thats most boss pedals so what can you do. If you’re a little bored with your sound and wanna try something unique then do it.

The durable, the effective, the ingenious boss pedals!
The only reason I give it 4 stars, is because I have the Boss GT 100 with the multi overtone effect built-in. The Standalone pedal is not nearly as good as the overtone pedal in the Boss GT 100. So that's the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. It does what it says it should do and it does it well. Nice addition to any rig.

Best with keyboards, bass and guitar.
Gives great overtones, and with used with other pedals, other variations of sound can be accomplished. I can’t recommend or give other comments as Amazon is like big brother.

Great pedal
It's hard to explain the cool sounds you can get from this pedal. One mode adds a low octave sound and another adds a high octave (almost like the shimmer of a 12 String guitar). The third mode is also unique and I don't even know how to describe it. With the "detune" function you can achieve chorus like tones with all 3 modes. These are not sounds you would necessarily want to use constantly, but they make for a nice effect for solos and lead parts. Highly recommended if your looking to add new sound dimensions to your guitar rig. The seller was great too, it arrived from Japan to the US quicker than expected.

A bunch of effects in one pedal
Really versatile pedal. It's similar to an octave pedal but not quite. You can get a decent twelve string kind of sound with the first mode and a tonewheel organ kind of sound with the detune on high in the second and third modes. If you don't want to buy an octave pedal or an organ simulator this is a good compromise though it won't replace either of those things. With less blend, it can also give your guitar a nice microsynth sound that will thicken up leads a lot.

Not quite what I was hoping for.
I didn't get the sounds I was looking for out of it. The organ and 12 string sounds didn't meet my expectations based on hype and videos. Does make some cool sounds, just not for me. Standard solid Boss build. No problem with seller, or with returning it. Going with a straight up PS-6 harmonizer.
