Best mouse yet.
Okay so I'm quite picky with my mice, most of them are far to small for my hands or they go other way and are huge with shelves on the side and millions of buttons etc.Well as soon as I got this mouse out of the box I knew I would like it. Its the perfect size, feels great in the hand and moves along my desk beautifully - Not to mention having back and forward buttons is so helpful, I've not had them before but I started using them instinctively. Its a great weight, looks good and does the job well. I'm super happy with this mouse and I've only had it for 12 hours. The only criticism (if you can call it that) is the lack of documentation on the middle LED button, but with a quick google search you can see what the different colours mean. When you press the middle mouse button (not the wheel button, the actual button) it will cycle through the different DPI giving you more / less accuracy with the mouse.I haven't actually used it for gaming yet (which is what I bought the mouse for) but I'm excited to try. I also purchased a Logitech Unifying receiver which I hope will work with this mouse, as it will save my USB ports.Overall though as a standalone mouse this is the best I've found. Good quality, great feel and great features. Love it.

pretty good
The Logitech G305 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse is a fantastic upgrade for anyone looking to move beyond a standard, cheap mouse you’d typically find bundled with a keyboard. It delivers excellent tracking and accuracy, which makes it perfect for both gaming and everyday use. The scroll wheel feels responsive and tactile, adding to the overall experience. One thing I did notice is that the back end of the mouse feels slightly heavier compared to the front, which can throw off the balance a bit for some users. However, it’s still lightweight overall, so it doesn’t hinder performance. If you're after a reliable, wireless mouse with great precision and don’t mind a bit of uneven weight distribution, the G305 is a solid choice.

Best mouse I've ever used.
The G305 is an excellent mouse, no ifs no buts, this is the second one I've owned and I cannot see me using a different mouse after this.Battery usage is incredible, I game a lot and I only ever seem to have to change the batteries 2 or 3 times a year at most.Mouse feels premium in the hand, the build quality is exceptional and the click of the buttons feel fantastic. This includes the side buttons and scroll wheel. The price can seem daunting but my first purchase of a G305 was a used returned item from Amazon that I used for over 2 years, it's still in perfect working condition today. I felt that this time around I knew it was worth the money as I could easily see myself using this mouse for 4 years. Making the price negligible.I can't think of a single downside to this mouse other than the fact that after 2 years of my use (even longer with the previous owners use included) the logitech logo which sits under the palm started to fade. Which is of course an aesthetic which I don't really see as a negative but I'll let you make your own judgement on that.

Very pleasing device
I must admit to buying this mouse fairly casually as an "emergency buy" when I broke my previous device. That said Ive been very pleased with my experience of the past three months. The mouse is pretty light and a good size for medium sized hands. Wireless connection has been faultless to a desktop that actually sits beside my desk and battery life seems excellent with power consumption very frugal. A small button on the top of the mouse allows you to change the DPI setting between four defaults ranging from 400DPI to 3200DPI. If you download the Logitech G HUB software it allows you to assign a fifth DPI setting of your choice. I didnt actually download the software for the first month of use so it will work just fine right out of the box. I play games but I am by no means a hardcore gamer but my experience of the mouse has been excellent so far. The downloaded software will allow you to assign actions to the various buttons and it will scan your games library to suggest profiles for the games you own. There are two side buttons whose default is to forward/back on web pages. Being clumsy I would hit these occassionally by mistake so it was good to find that these could be disabled in the software. All in all very pleased with my purchase.

Finally A Mouse That Just Works
After my previous Corsair mouse died I started to look into the wireless market. Razer caught my eye first with the Basilisk Ultimate. Which was great for all of a week then it started to develop issues with the scroll wheel. I returned for a replacement not once, not twice but 3 times! They all had the same issue out of the box. Goodbye Razer, never again. Next, onto the Roccat Kain 202. Lovely looking mouse and it felt great in the hand. But my god, the software. I don't know how it can be so bad. I literally could not even update the firmware of the mouse/dock which meant it couldn't be used wirelessly. Finally, I found my way to this Logitech g305 and so far it has blown me away. It's simple, no frills but it does what it needs to do and most importantly it all works! No funky scroll wheel, no missed clicks. Just a tiny USB dongle and the mouse and that's it. Sorted. I have mediumish hands at about 18cm and this mouse is just right for me using a fingertip/claw grip. Palm grip is a no go here if you have similar sized hands, my fingertips hang off the mouse buttons.Bottom line, it's a fantastic mouse for the price and it just goes to show that more money doesn't always mean better. Looking at you especially Razer.
