Metabo HPT 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder, Includes 5 Grinding Wheels & Hard Case, 6.2-Amp Motor, Compact & Lightweight, G12SR4

It's quite cheap for a name brand grinder. I've had it for a bit now and it's solid choice. The grinder is heavy in the hand, comes with wheels and a nice blow polymer case, and is ready to rock out of the box. People mention the switch being awkward, and it can be to turn on, but turning it off is quite easy. I'd believe this was on purpose just for safety reasons as it's hard to accidentally kick it on. It's strong, doesn't slow down too bad on deep plunge cuts, and rides easily in the hand. It's perfect for someone looking to get a really good tool but not the price with the added price tag of a Makita. It's a tried and true name, can't go wrong.

Purchased this grinder for the sole purpose of sharpening lawnmower blades, with sandpaper flapper discs. Really nicely built- quality is there. No ought edges. Looks like a quality tool, as Ive come to expect from Metabo. Comes in a good case. I love that it's easy to store, because the case gives lots of room for the cord. The handle installs either left or right side, which is great when you need to hold it offhanded. Auger tightened up and never slipped back, off either the hard cutting discs provided or my flapper discs. Power is lower than some others, but it just depends what your intending to use it for. Really good grinder for the price

Inexpensive DIY std duty grinder worked like a champ. Not commercial grade, but it did the job for me grinding concrete high spots down. Buy a $20 vacuum kit and 90% of dust is gone too. Very happy with it

delivered fast and price is right needed a electric grinder for some cutting of galvanized roof. have a battery one but wanted little more beef for this, it worked well I knew of this brand before it became Metebo had few other of their tools and wow they took beatings would still have them if not stolen on a house rebuild. any way took a start off for the switch on/off it is a slide flip type and is a pain in the butt for some especially if using gloves plus i am use to other type switches so takes getting use to other then that hands place right, locking shaft works great good power/speed I also use it for wood carving/ sanding so yes would buy again. or may look for one with different power switch.try it you will like it if don't have others with different switches had other typos for 10 years

Seems like a really good value. Only used it a little but it seems very well made.
