I love these little lamps! I bought a pair of red & blue lamps just like them for just a few dollars a few years ago from an offering comprising many separate sheets—each with one type of item, like these lamps—that came in the mail. I didn't have a particular use for them at the time, but they were so reasonably priced & looked like they would come in handy, and they have!With a head that adjusts to 8 different angles & a base that makes them freestanding, they provide light with no input required other than pressing the on/off button. The post that supports the head is narrow & comfortable to hold—if necessary—with 4 narrow, widely spaced ridges to accommodate fingers in the front & a full bar of another type along the back should it need to be held on a job that makes you work up a sweat or while searching for something in a hot attic.Knowing I can put a lamp down without having it roll away is another point in its favor. Its 12 LEDs provide bright light & thanks to its ability to provide that light courtesy of 3 AA batteries there's no need for an electrical outlet or possibility of tripping over a cord. Since I've been using rechargeable eneloops for years, I simply put in another 3 when the brightness becomes too dim for the job.I purchased this 2nd pair of lamps after misplacing one of them which made me realize how much I value them. Should the need occur I'd purchase a 3rd set also!

This is a very useful product. We have used two of them for some time now for times when some good lighting is required. Being compact & relatively small makes them very useful. Our order was handled well & the delivery was very good.

These are excellent lamps for brightness, lasting a very long time. We have used them as lighting for: outdoor Halloween displays - no rain, flashlight. and in place of a lantern.Recently they were distributed to neighbors on our block, and in use at our house, when we all lost power during the bad California windstorms and fires. One alone can light up a good portion of a room.We have purchased these lamps from this seller, tested them out when received, and have never been disappointed. I plan on ordering a couple more boxes to replace the ones my neighbors asked to keep.

Easy to use. Gives off a lot of light

Many years ago I was gifted a pair of these. At the time I graciously thanked the gifter but secretly felt a bit "meh" because I had no idea what I would do with them besides use them as occasional flashlights. As it turned out I gradually came to use them almost everyday. I have two rooms where the light switches aren't near the door, so I place these little lights near the door and often grab one instead of turning on the room light. They are especially useful if I came to retrieve one small item and turn to leave the room again in a few seconds. Because of its "handy" shape it's much easier to grab than a flashlight. And if I need to put it down for a minute it sits perfectly still and doesn't threaten to roll away. It's also convenient when I need both hands to perform a small quick task and can adjust the light to point specifically, and leave it sitting by itself. And if an item drops on the floor in a shadowed area (e.g., under the bed) I grab the light to help me find it quickly. Despite almost daily use the 3 AA batteries last a long time because the LEDs don't use much power. The more I used them the more I thought of reasons to use them, and started wanting one in other rooms too. So I was really glad to discover them available at Amazon.

These lamps are really nice to use around the house during a power outage. I use them in my Master Bedroom as a night light. Very lightweight that I can carry it around in the dark if I just need to look for something without turning on a lot of overhead lights.

I've owned an older version of these lights for 30 years or more, and they have always performed well!They give you the advantage of a "third arm", allowing you to aim the light at whatever you want to see, leaving your hands free! Kudos for providing the light!
