I tried some other brands before getting this one. Taking one a day keeps my apthous ulcers (small sores inside the mouth - not the cankers on the outside & lips) away. Most of the time. I ran out then got one. (Of course, if I stopped eating chocolate & junk food, that would probably work too). Another idea - I have MCT oil made by "Wild FOods" It contains monolaurin. I put it in my coffee. And when I ran out of this product, I used extra oil topically several times a day & that made an ulcer go away.Wild Foods products are very expensive. I've love to hear about a cheaper source of MCT oil.
