Retro Bag with Modern Functionality
Choices are limited when it comes to shoulder / Crossbody bags that are relatively small, lightweight, and can carry a professional camera with an integrated grip. This camera bag is ideal to carry my Nikon Z9 with two other lenses, while I am strolling around the city. Durable, timeless design, and functional. Two thumbs up.

A pleasure to use and should last a long time
I've used many Think Tank bags over the last two decades, so it wasn't a question of being disappointed by this bag's design and manufacture. Both are amazing given the stuff that's out there. It is, however, the first soft shelled bag I've used, and so there was some hesitation to try this model out. From years of shooting professionally, I remember that Domke had the market for soft bags for years, but most of the guys that I knew who used them ended up having all their equipment in a bunch in the middle of the bag. Domkes were easy on the hips, but hell on your equipment. This model from TT has the typical foam filled dividers that allow multiple configurations to match your particular kit. It's important to note that I'm carrying around a Nikon D850 with battery grip and a RRS L-bracket, so we're talking about a pretty tall set-up. It fits! Along with this camera, there's the 24-70mm f/2.8 mounted, the 70-200mm capped on the side, and a 910 flash. It all fits. I carry all this with the strap across my body, and when empty during shooting, it's light enough that it's not a chore to let it hang from just your shoulder. I haven't had it out in the rain yet, but TT includes a cover as part of the package. There's an internal zippered flap for greater security. The version 1 of this bag doesn't have that internal flap, and some guys were complaining about feeling vulnerable while walking through crowds. You can opt not to zipper it closed, and there's a Velcro strip that will lift it out of your way when you open the main bag flap. Speaking of the main flap, there are inside flaps that can be positioned so either you can secure it with Velcro, or if not the main flap will open silently. The shoulder strap is hefty and the non-slip pad is truly non-slip. I've found that there's more than enough strap length adjustability for me to go from shoulder carry to across-body carry. Larger frames than mine might feel differently. I'm 5'7" with a 44" chest. There are two brass-ringed eyelets on the front main flap that serve no purpose. I suppose you could figure out how to marry something there, but it would throw the bag off somewhat. When you put the bag down, it doesn't topple over in either direction. I have the camera mounted pointing the lens downward, so the center of gravity is really in the middle where you want it to be. Price is somewhat steep when compared to other soft bags, however in this case, I believe that you get what you pay for. If you want to own a bag for the long haul, you might find that buying this is a more efficient and effective way to spend your hard earned money.

Just about perfect for a quick on the go camera bag.
I’m glad I went with this over the narrower one I don’t have a batt pack but it allows me to store the Camera body to fit sideways keeping two side pockets for a 300mm lens a small organizer bag and an optional external flash. The bag still holds an iPad perfectly and a large enough front pocket for the bag rain cover and my cameras rain cover plus any other things you don’t want to keep in your pockets while your shooting.
