Supringly effective!!!
I have a very young, type 1 diabetic, who has been on omnipod since 18 months old (six months after Dx). I have tried EVERYTHING out there in the last four years to keep his stupid pods on while swimming, to include, not just pod adhesives, but also, IV tapes, pediatric NICU tape, to the most “supposedly adherents” such as some kind of goo that seriously looked like rubber cement, but was made for skin. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING could hold a pod on that little boy if there was a pool involved.Well, we had a planned vacation to Florida and (of course) the resort we were staying at had a pool with a waterfall, volcano AND water slides (a little boys dream come true, a diabetic moms worst nightmare). So, I ordered these, with absolutely NO HOPE of them working, as I have sorely been disappointed in the past by other similar products and packed 20 pods for a ten day vacation.BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!! They held up! Three days in and daily visits to the pool and his pod actually expired!!! Didn’t think I’d hear those beeps the whole trip! Not only that, but you know how you have to wait 24 hours to make sure the pod adhesive actually adheres before showering? Well, sure enough, we promised the pool after dinner and guess when the pod beeped? Right BEFORE dinner (of course). So, numbed him up, replaced the pod, threw one of these over it and he went right out the door to the pool and it STILL STAYED ON!So yeah, I’m sold. No rashes, came off easily with unisolve and I have now decided to keep these on hand for pools, splash pads, pretty much ANYTHING outside of water.

Love the look
There are no instructions on how to remove these adhesive patches from their backing nor how to actually put these over the Omnipod. Colors are wonderful and design are nice. Found out just by doing and such that once you get the patch off of it's backing (which you have to do it all at once) that once you start to put over the pod and skin; you start at top or bottom and stretch the patch over the entire pod. If you don't that you won't have enough patch to cover and surround the Omnipod. These would work better if there was a half-way point that you peel off backing and start to put over the pod and once that is smooth you peel off the other half and put on. Instructions would have been nice. Now since we know how to use these we might purchase more just for the fun colors and designs.

Best patches we've found by far!
My son has very sensitive skin and he's fairly active. As it's summer he's in the pool non stop when he's able. These patches hold up amazingly well! They are easy to apply and come in a pattern for everyone. We are absolutely repeat customers!

Not very waterproof or sweat proof
I run a lot during the summer, and have been using many different over patches to try and keep my OmniPod 5 attached to my body. The only way these stay on me after I am done running is if I had put on SkinTac beforehand. And if I had allowed an entire day to pass before I got it wet so it could dry well enough. Which doesn’t make this over patch any stickier or more adhesive than any of the other over patches on the market. I used all 10 patches that came with my first order, and 4 of them came off the very next day of attaching them. I wouldn’t recommend these if you have had issues keeping your OmniPod attached to your body.

Allergic reaction/itchy
We were going on vacation and would be doing a lot of swimming. I picked these because i liked the line through the middle for extra support to hold the pod down also and not just the tape around it. These were WAY bigger then what i had in mind. I didnt react to my daughter who although is loving being tubeless, she hates how bulky it is. But i think thats because we came from medtronic and tslim pumps. Anyways, she noticed herself and although bummed for a sec, she quickly got over it and didnt complain as she knew she could possibly go through a pod or 2 a day without this kind of tape. She complained of it being extremely itchy all the time. I gave her hydrocortisone cream and she said it helped, but only temporarily. I know my pictures are out of order, but there are 7 pictures. #5 and #6 are from the first time that she showed me. Pictures 1-4 are from a few days after. She had I believe 2 pods there. Her skin was discolored and very rough, dry, bumpy, again extremely itchy, raw, scabby, etc. My daughter (and I) are very worried about scarring as we felt it already looks like it was in those pictures. We started outting hydrocortisone cream and aquaphor on it every night. The last picture, #7, was from today. She put over her pod last night. To us, it looks like her stomach is also still discolored and has some scarring. What we started doing was spraying Flonase nasal spray on my daughters stomach or wherever she was putting it on at and that helped for little bit.

These are just okay!
I wanted to like these to use with my Omnipod but these are not my favorite. I have got where I will cut the part that is suppose to cross the pod, I will cut that off to make it fit around the pod. The adhesive seems to be okay also. They seem to stick fine )even with skin tact) but after a day, they start to not stick. I use these for my dexcom also, it is the same after a day or so they start to loose their adhesive capabilities. It is too much money especially when they make the pod or the dexcom to not stick then you have lost a pod, insulin, or a sensor….. it is too much money wasted!
