Just what I needed !
Perfect, was just what I was looking for and works flawlessly. Upgraded the 72' C/K 20 to an alternator with an internal regulatior (also from Amazon) the dash gauge wasn't working before the upgrade. Hooked this directly into the ge fuse panel. Is shows 14.2 volts accurately when running. When you turn on the lights, the blower, the blower the voltage never goes below 13.4. I do recommend this little meter and the blue goes good with old blues paint job. It has lasted, easily mounts with adhesive strip to the dash (no holes) and a great price.

Wouldn't use in outdoor application but static install ok.
Accurate to +/- 0.03 volts on transition between x.1 and x.2 as that's the only display resolution you get.Pull around 44mA when powered on. Does not flash LLL or HHH as stated, but will flash the value from about 7.5 VDC to 11ish. Will not display below 7.0 VDC. Wiring into device is questionable for longevity due to gauge/position/lack of strain relief.

Works perfectly
I got this to monitor the battey in our 1967 vintage trailer. Its small enough that I was able to find an out of the way place to mount it but the display is large enough to make it easy to read. I have used a seperate voltage meter to check its accuracy and it has never been wrong.

Super bright. Needs dimmer on night time control.
I bought this to monitor my battery voltage after an alternator went out on my truck. I have another meter that plugs in a cigarette lighter plug and has two USB plugs on it, but it cycles between voltage, current draw on the USB plugs and temperature in Celsius (which I can't change). I only needed the voltage so I went looking for something else.Despite the reviews I saw saying it was too bright, I said "It can't be that bad". Install was fairly easy. Mine did not come with the double side tape but luckily I keep this around my house. The wires were small as others have noted, but workable. Only took me about 30 minutes to install. Display was easy to read even during full daytime light.I work nights so it is dark out when I head in. First night I started the truck I was blasted from the light. Believe me when I say the photos do not do it justice for the brightness. For a week I had to run with it until I could see what I could do. During that time I thought, "Window Tint".Sadly I could not find any lying around the house so I had to pick up some. I purchased 5% tint which is the darkest they had. A bit pricy as I only needed a piece 3/4" x 2". Therefore I did some testing first. I unrolled the tint from the inside to test without actually "opening" the tint.Amazon is moving my pictures around so I put numbers on them. In the picture #1 I show the full display unfiltered. As you can see, it really lights up the dash. In #2 picture is with one layer of the tint just held over the display. Although it is still lighting up the dash part, you can see some diffusion. #3 picture is with two layers of tint held over the display (part of the "1" only has one layer) and you see a bit more diffusion. I liked what I was seeing. So I went ahead and cut a small piece off and attached it. Currently I am only running one layer of tint. As you can see in #4 picture, it did make a huge difference. Unfortunately I can't see the "V" anymore but that's not a big deal.Although I have not driven yet at night, I am sure this will help a lot. If not, I can always add a second layer. I did drive in full daylight today and was still able to read the display with full sun.In all, I would highly recommend this voltage display. I do wish it had some kind of dimmer control or an auto day/night dimmer. If you do get this meter and have the same issue, I would recommend stopping by a local tint shop and see how much they will sell a small 3/4" x 2" piece of tint for. They will probably just give it to you. Otherwise you can pick some up at any auto parts store and save the rest for another day.

Inexpensive and does the job.
I bought this along with a cigarette-lighter adapter so that I could pay attention to the voltage in my car. I suspected that the alternator wasn't doing its job correctly and with this voltmeter plugged into the cigarette lighter I could watch in real-time as the voltage went up and down. I've had this for a few months now and it continues to work perfectly. It event comes with some sticky foam tape so you can mount the voltmeter on the dashboard or wherever else you might choose. So: I'm a happy camper.

A+ Product. Accurate Measurement and Bright LEDs.
I installed this on my ATV to monitor the electrical system voltage. After installing a new stator, flwheel, and voltage regulator it is nice to see the voltage at all times to make sure everything is running correctly.Easy to install, just solder/connect the positive and negative wire to your battery. I soldered them into a fused accessory port and it measures accurately to the tenth of a volt. I verified with my professional Fluke multimeter. The display updates every couple of seconds. Very bright LEDs are easy to read even in direct sunlight.I would highly recommend.

Inaccurate. Not suitable for vehicle
Consistently reads 0.2 volts too high compared to three other reliable sources, including Klein and Fluke meters. Wires are micro gauge and too thin for use in my 4runner. They will easily break with slight stress if caught during future work in engine compartment. 0.2 volts matters to me, it may not to you. I need to track parasitic drain. But why buy this if there are alternatives? Even the meters that plug into cigarette lighters are accurate, so this one is not a good choice.
