Good bar
Arrived much sooner than expected. It is a good replacement for the one I had before that the movers lost. Some assembly was required, but not a big deal if you have a hammer. Very sturdy, and gave me a good workout the first time I used it. Glad I found it for the price I did, because now it's unavailable.

It's kind of loose in the middle of the bar once you put it together

Needed to be one piece bar
It would have been so much better if the bar was one piece! Trying to stick the pen in the hole and get it to go all the way through was ridiculous because the hole wasn't deberred! I like to never got it in the hole instead I ended up hitting the bar a few times and I got dings and scratches in it I'm a little upset

"Cap" what are you thinking?
Nice enough bar but poorly designed. One collar missing. Found broken part of collar in bottom of box. Collars fit very sloppily and loose as if cut for some other piece of gym equipment or bar of greater diameter. I was lucky to have found extra locking collar from a bumb bell. Everything negative written about this product is absolutely true. Pin holes do not line up correctly. I had to redrill them myself. Bar halfs should be welded together for structural strenght. It is obvious that "Cap" did not put much thought into design or customer satisfaction. A one pieces bar will be a much better choice for you. No more "Cap" products for me.

It's strong, C clamp or vise for assembly.
It's a two piece bar that uses a pin to assemble. The pin must be pressed in using a vice or C clamp. The bar is very comfortable and sturdy. I Iike it.

Loose but holds the weight
Works for the price. I keep roughly 55 pounds on it and no problems yet. Going on a year.
