Effective shower head even at 1.8 GPM
This shower head flows at 1.8 GPM as measured on our water softener's flowmeter, so I'm inferring it has a 1.8 GPM flow washer installed. I'm going to leave it even though we're not living in a water-critical area. The massage setting is quite pleasant. The concentrated power spray is really effective even at 1.8 GPM. The large spray is gentle but effective, and the aerated setting provides a voluminous rain-like spray that rinses out shampoo quite effectively. A large tab makes selecting the different settings very easy. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this showerhead. It's a bit pricey in comparison with others but I still think I'm going to order another one for the guest bathroom.

The shower is not as good as expected, the water flow is very poor.

Shower faucet
Works great. Easy to install even though mine is older with corosion. My original was made of metal but I have had to replace twice. This isn’t metal and I am not sure what the material is but maybe it may last longer. We have really hard water. Even if it doesn’t last the price is much better than the $80 from grove

Cheaply Made
I've had Grohe shower components in the past, and they were all very sturdy, metal devices. This one was not; I am guessing the company has switched to non-metal components to save money.While trying to install the shower head to the water pipe in the shower, the connecting screw (between the shower head and the water pipe) cracked during HAND TIGHTENING. No pliers, wrench or other assorted tool was used... the connecting screw snapped while being hand tightened. And we all know that merely using hand tightening will result in a leaky connection. So what we have here is a lose-lose situation.This is what you get when the shower head is made with plastic components. Yes, it's light. Yes,. it won't rust. No, it doesn't work.

Poor selection of "rain" low pressure
Maybe I will take the regulator out of it somehow to get better water pressure. The labels for the water pattern "rains" are written on the face of the shower head, but have no relationship to where the settings are. It's silly and embarrassing.

Highly Functional; Sturdy
I remodeled two bathrooms six years ago. Got a fancy “wand” handheld shower head for one and this for the other. Finally admitted the wand was a pain and replaced it with another one of these. I use at least three of the four spray choices every time I shower. Gets my day off to a good start.
