It feels a bit like you're painting with milk because it's very runny but seems to give good coverage and is easy to apply. Hopefully it'll do it's job and extend the life of this wood but only time will tell. Good value for a 1 litre pot, very reasonable. I used it to paint two garden planters I've made and have still got loads left over.

I bought this as I hope it will keep my new wooden fence looking natural, and I don't like most of the coloured paints available.I hoped that I would be able to spray it on which is much quicker than by brush. However when I tried it in my hand sprayer it didn't work as it is just a bit too thick. Maybe with a bit of thinning with water it would spary, but I was reluctant to try in case it ruined it. Hence I switched to a large brush which worked well, albeit more slowly.For information, I found that the coverage on my new roughish bare wood fence panels was approximately 20 Square metres from a 5 litre can.Obviously I have yet to see the long term durability of it. Maybe in a couple of years or so's time I will update this review!

A year after having anew fence built I was keen to add some protection but retain the clean, natural look of the wood. This goes on quite easily, like milk that makes the wood look wet until it dries. Now you can't really tell anything has been applied and the wood just looks nice and plain. I applied it when temperatures were 10 degrees and above and no rain for a couple of days. Happy with this product, and pet friendly too as we have two lovely garden cats, but really not sure of the actual benefit to the wood at this stage. I feel I wanted something that would be slightly more obvious it had been treated but then I guess that defeats the object of a clear treatment.

Great for my fence. Coverage was as described on the tin. No overwhelming smell. Fence is now waterproof and it doesn’t change the colour of the wood as it’s clear.

Easy paint to use because it’s clear needs a good stir before use happy with the product

Just been delivered and the tin has been dented to the front. I won’t leave a bad review as haven’t opened yet so hoping the quality won’t be compromised.

I did not like the fact that the tin has dent,this has resulted in leakage, in fact over my clothes! Not very happy, no idea what it's like as a product,but it's put me in a right tizz!
