For 10 years I have been using the Sleep Innovations contour memory foam pillow. I have loved it and had no pain or sleepless nights with it. While shopping on Amazon for a new pillow for my sister I found the Sleep Innovations side sleeper gel pillow. The reviews were not overwhelmingly positive but I was swayed by the reviews of the gel memory foam pillow being plush and providing the best support for a side sleeper. I ordered the pillows knowing that they could be returned if not acceptable. I have now slept on my new gel side sleeper pillow for two nights and the support and comfort I experienced is heavenly. Even though the pillow is plush it provides the perfect level of support I need as a side sleeper. I feel like I am sleeping on a cool firm cloud with the pillow hugging my head. I find that the Sleep Innovations gel side sleeper is cooler than my Sleep Innovations contour memory foam pillow. In my experience of searching for the perfect pillow I have tried many that are more expensive than the Sleep Innovations pillow but this pillow is reasonably priced, provides excellent support and is the most comfortable pillow I have ever used. My sister also loves her pillow even though she is a stomach sleeper. I couldn’t be happier with my new pillow. If you are considering this pillow but sitting on the fence because of reviews, I encourage you to take a chance because you just might like it and you can return it if you don’t find it to meets your standards. I love, love my new pillow!

I like the shape and density. At first it seemed a bit too hard but after a week or two it's just about perfect now. It might eventually become too soft but for now I'm happy with it. My reason for 3 stars and not higher is because of the absurd thickness and hardness of the blue bands around the edge. I feel like they need to come up with a better option because if not positioned right, it is very noticeably uncomfortable on your cheek.

I was trying to match a Sleep Innovation pillow bought in the past. I bought 4, all 4 are different in the level of firmness and squishiness. Disappointing, but finally found one I could sleep on.

My fluffy pillows were a year old and no longer doing the job. Time for replacement. I had a spare pillow that I pulled out of retirement - probably 7 - 9 years old - and it was still very comfortable. I always use pillow covers to keep them clean. Looked at the brand, Sleep Innovations, and decided to get the same one. Foam is made in the U.S. Still the same quality. Still the same comfort.

I took the chance on this pillow after reading multiple reviews. I've been searching for a pillow that was similar to the old one I have which they discontinued making. I read a review that this pillow is identical to the one that I've been looking for which just happened to be the same one they've also been looking for. I thought it was too good to be true but I figured I would take the chance and boy was it too good to be true!The pillow I received is absolutely nothing like the one in the picture and description nor the reviews I ready with pictures attached. The pillow I got is not cooling, there are no holes through it, and it has zero support. The pillow compresses down to about (maybe?) an inch and a half of foam. There's no way that will ever support a neck properly. I'm returning and not buying this brand again. Here's to continuing my search for my perfect pillow...

I ordered one of these pillows several years ago and it became my favorite pillow; the one I had to have to sleep with. So I decided it was time to get a matching one for my bed and pitch the feather pillow I never liked. It is the same great product I ordered about 5 years ago. And the first one is still going strong! I am not a side-sleeper (mostly back) but I love it anyway. Excellent support for head & neck - I recommend it highly….
