So much fun!
Bought one for my son as a gift and now have all of them; even ordered expansions. Great game, easy to play, exciting strategizing and very well made.

This is a great expansion for your Zombicide BP or GH games!
My kids and I are having a great time with this. The Ballista trivializes the difficulty, but you can just play without it. That's what we do. The Dragon is a fun enemy to face, as are the rats and spectral walkers. This is a very worthwhile purchase!

Miniature review only - WHAT A DRAGON!!
There are only 2 words that are necessary to describe the sculpts in this game: Simply. Amazing! While, admittedly, the repetition of the rat swarms and the spectral walkers might throw some off in terms of value per mini, the Necromantic Dragon is INCREDIBLE. This thing stands taller than a standard 12oz can of soda, and the details on it are phenominal. Amazingly, the only *assembly* required are the wings, though they slot in firmly enough that I don't honestly believe that gluing them in place is necessary, or even recommendable (it's MUCH easier to store with them taken out).Overall, if you are looking for some solid miniatures for your collection, this box is well worth the (discounted) buy. Not sure if I could go all the way to recommend a full price for just the minis, but on sale it's a must buy for painters, tabletop gamers, and collectors of all other sorts.

Fight a Dragon
Spectral Walkers are a unique mob since they can only be killed by the Ballista,Dragon Fire, Magic or Vault Weapons.Swarm of Ratz are also unique since a Swarm of Ratz already on the board get another activation if you draw a Swarm of Ratz card. You can get Vault Cards if you kill the Necromatic Dragon by dealing 2 damage to the Dragon.

An impressive sculpt...
The boss, equivalent to an end game threat, is a wonderful addition in terms of difficulty for Zombicide. It is a deadly foe whose mission/campaign ending attacks and powers can be used against it to clear the dead blocking your way. A ballista is added which can be brought out whenever you face any dragon, allowing you to strike foes from tiles away. The spectral walkers who are immune to non-magical attacks add some depth in terms of weapons and items taken into battle. Finally the rat swarms that can activate many times throughout the game make prioritization of targets more prominent. All-in-all a great variety in mechanics and depth is added through this expansion, as any expansion should. However, as a miniature collector, the sculpts in this box are my focus. The Necromantic Dragon is easily Gargantuan (towering at 7in tall from base to the tallest part of its wing and 8in deep from the tip of its horn to the tip of its wing). It comes with some minor assembly requirements; and if you are planning to prime, fill gaps, and paint this sculpt it will also require glue and possibly Green Stuff. It is an impressive monster, though ~40 seems to be a bit pricey for just this sculpt alone. Luckily the detailed ballista, 15 rat swarms with 3 different sculpts, and 18 spectral walkers with 3 different sculpts make the price worth it. They are well defined, as CMON miniatures tend to be, and come in great quantities.I recommend picking this box up if you want to add a difficult boss to your Zombicide game or want to get a hold of some impressive sculpts.
