I used this product to preserve my voice for long performance and improve memory. It did wonders with both. (This herb has a traditiona use for voice strengthening and cognitive impairment in coma or after injury.) I thought it might help with memory too...it did help a lot.

I can't rate the quality of this particular brand yet because I just received my order, however I do want to touch on the subject of some reviewer writing that calamus is cancerous. There are certain calamus varieties (tetraploid) particularly from the asian or indian region that have over 80% ß-aserone which were evaluated as cancerous in animal testing and are not permitted for sale to people. The calamus (diploid) from western Europe and America are considered safe because they only have traces of aserone. There is not enough information given on this particular product however they do say their products are grown organically in Florida. That being said, I am not trying to convince anyone to buy this product but just putting more information out there.

Do not take this by mouth! This is precancerous if taken by mouth. Check the FDA warning. I can’t believe this is sold on Amazon. It nearly destroyed my stomach.
