This product was exactly what I needed to replace the current key case for my Honda. The dealer's parts person was able to cut the new keys and said the product was really good quality.

right size but have to take to dealer to program and cut to fit your vehicle. I just needed the outer case and assumed that I could just swap out electronics and metal part. Does not work that way with this unit.

With the exception of the back not having the Honda logo, you couldn't tell this wasn't an OEM part. The one big problem, is the metal key is permanently attached to the casing. This means to use it, you'd have to get the key cut. It is referred to as a "laser cut key" so you need to find a place that can actually do it. It seems some Ace Hardware places may be able to for roughly $15. The tech guts of the key is easily removeable, so you can transfer it between your old key and new key in a few seconds.I technically only needed the back plate, so I didn't get my key cut, I just used the new back plate on my old key.

Arrived in good condition and on time. However, the blank key it comes with could not be removed. So this caused a bit of a problem. I thought I would be able to detach it from the housing. So I'll have to pay to get the key cut for the remote. I ended up using only the back of the remote and the front from my old one.

To be honest, I just needed the screw. But decided to replace the buttons and silicone pad on my key. Working just fine.

The media could not be loaded. This saved me so much money in comparison to what I would have paid had the Honda service center fixed my remote. The back of my remote was broken and I easily fixed that problem from the comfort of my own home. As good as new at a fraction of the $60 I was quoted at the service center. I just had to purchase a watch screwdriver (but still saved me SO much money)! Highly recommend!
