This PC was in excellent condition as refurbished and it booted up right away with no problems at all. WIN 10 PRO is a plus, and it was already setup with a digital key. Its a very good machine, and it's on the small size. Not the old bulky desktops. There is 4 extra card slots. It works like a new system.Would definitely do business with them again. There was a small hiccup but the seller worked it out with me, so that was also a plus! Make sure you make a system restore in case windows crashes. This is a very fast system. Quad coreThe hookup is veru simple, if you have a older system just ove the plugs etc to this one, and it's good to go. Having a VGA out is good since all the older monitors use VGA. It runs basic games, but with the current GPU, it will lag with the heavy memory hogging games. For regular use, minus games, its very fast!!!

The mouse was shattered on arrival and the thumb drive for the internet could not hold the connection. We already had a gaming keyboard and mouse that works great. I had a Netgear Wireless AC adapter that works with any WiFi Router and got the computer to stay connected. We are downloading DaVinci Resolve Studio now with no problem. The computer is a 5 star, just the added components were garbage.

Out of the box, this will barely get along. With today's memory-hogging/leaking browsers and always-probing AV software (like Bitdefender), you will find this HDD straining to keep up and, in the process, slowing things down considerably. However, you can greatly improve the speed, and ease the burden on the HDD, by doubling the RAM for about $36 and using a RAM disk (I like ImDisk).If this HP holds up for a little while, I intend to replace the HDD with a SSD, which will help even further. I could have gone with a better-loaded Win11 machine, but I might as well just send all of my personal files and info directly to Microsoft. This will be my last Windows machine, given MS's drive toward controlling all of our personal computing activity. Once Win10 loses application support by browsers and AV software, I'll move to Linux, which has made enormous strides and now, pretty much, gives a better windows-type experience that Microsoft.

I called Tekrefurbs customer service and spoke with a delightfully helpful young lady by the name of Kimberly. She was very pleasant and very helpful with assisting me with my issue. 6 stars!

This product worked great....for about 5-6 months. Now all it does is try to turn on. Like it takes deep breathes, beeps, repeats over and over. But never turns on. Of course, my warranty was for only 3 months. an extended warranty on a $300 item is not worth it. And I guess you get what you pay for. One thing is certain...I will never buy a reburbished item again. They are a time bomb for trouble. I only gave this a 2 star rating for the nice 6 months it gave me. Let's see. 300 divided by 6....$50 a month for use. Nope. Never again.It is now March 2022. This item has been sitting around for awhile. I finally called the best computer store in the area. He said get rid of. Cost more to repair than what I paid for it. Will do.

I bought this HP as a clone backup to my other HP Elite 800 GF, having recently recovered it from a crash on the HD caused by Norton. It was in excellent condition as refurbished and it booted up right out of the box with no problems at all. Just signed in with my Microsoft account and everything loaded without a hitch. It takes a bunch of time to setup the updates and such. This is a great little desktop and has like 4 slots for cards that I don't need as I just use word processing and basic video watching. My first machine was also refurbished and has lasted more than 3 years so far. I am sure this one will last too. Bring on the next crash and my backup machine is ready! Refurbanana is a great outfit.
