BEZOX Ingrown Toenail File(13.4cm) & Lifter Set(16.5cm)- Podiatrist Preferred Ingrown Toenail Treatment Tool

I've been in a lot of pain for about 2 weeks with an ingrown toenail. I cut it far too short on the stuck side and it was bleeding. So I finaly had a look for a treatment I could order. so this came this evening. It looked a bit scary but after soaking my feet for 15 minutes and making sure I'd looked at what tool does what I attempted to use these tools. took a minute but I lifted the edge that seemed imbedded and sure enough there was a large sharp shard of nail I had failed to get at. It was hard to file the nail as it was so soft byt I tried and the sharp piece of nail just broke away. I can now apply pressure to the toe with zero pain. Its a bit nippy but I know It will probabley be fine in the morning. so I highly reccomend these tools. I could not have done it without them.

Used the curved file to smooth a ragged corner. Not used the lifting tool as it isn't an ingrown nail.

I bought these along with a pair of toenail clippers for my Mother. Up until recently she was always able to get her toenails cut at the local hospital Podiatry department, but thanks to Government cutbacks she was no longer able to.I thought it would be useful to potential purchasers of this item, if I were to put a link to the toenail clippers I got, which I use along with this item. And also to scrape the debris out of the corners or the toe/toenail.A quick look on Amazon and we found the exact thing she had seen the Podiatrist using.We were extremely surprised at the price of this, and found it extremely good value for money for such high quality tools and materials used (100 percent professional surgical grade stainless steel).One part of the kit is a right, left nail lifter. This was ideal for us, as my Mother (due to the 12 weeks between her Podiatry appointments) has a bit of in growing in some of her nails. This tool allowed us to lift the in growing part, and cut it. After doing this and cutting the nails/in growing parts, my Mother immediately could feel the benefit. Another function of this tool (apart from a nail lifter) is that it has a little left and right angled scoop. This scoop is used to scrape/scoop dry skin, debris etc out of the corners of the nail, it does an excellent job at this.The other part of this kit is a file. You have a straight file on one end, and on the other end is a curved shaped file. The filing surface it machined into the stainless steel, so there is no chance of it wearing away, like a sanded surface file would. These files were extremely useful, and allowed me to file the end of my Mother's toenail in order to prevent it from in growing again.All of the kit comes in a really nice steel lidded box to keep everything in, which I found was a really nice touch.To sum up:I really cannot recommend this item enough. It's extremely good value (100 percent professional surgical grade stainless steel, machined filing surface, steel lidded storage box). So if you are in the same boat now (i.e.you have been victim of the Government cutbacks with regards to Podiatrist) then this item is the perfect addition to have along with a good pair of clippers.

Very good nail cutter

After I identified the files, I managed to use them successfully.It takes a while to get your nails back to how they should be.I also used another longer nail file after starting the job with the one in this pack,I used a liquid to soften the nails, but I would recommend using a antiseptic cream after you have filed the nails, and cleaned them.I found I only use 2 pieces out of the kit,I had been unable to properly do my nails for many years , due to a health issue, so was having issues with them ingrowing and pain , which now is a thing of the past.
