I’ve bought quite a few of these
We have a black granite composite sink so these look nice. After awhile they get bacteria growth on them - I spray it with Oxiclean and scrub it which works well but it seems to come back a little faster each time and then I discard them. But I like them a lot.

Extremely handy
Well build and sturdy... Purchased the same type many many yr's ago and love it... After so many years - it just needed tossing... So happy I could find a duplicate to replace the old one.... Has nice size drain holes so water etc. doesn't wallow in gunk... FYI - there is no suction and is just like a saddle to drape over the center portion of a double sink - each side droops over a little more than 4" - so it's sturdy and no chance of slipping from one side to the other...

Purchased this in 2014; Replacing in 2023! Says it all...
I used this holder (same one, never replaced) for the past 9 years and it always worked great. I am replacing it as the plastic on the inside where the sponge sits was discolored possibly because I used some harsh chemicals such as bleach spray. My only gripe with this product are the tiny holes to drain the water... why so small?I like that this holder doesn't get in the way of pots and pans, doesn't scratch anything large you put in the sink, and doesn't scratch the sink. If anything I've used it as a place to rest pots, pans, dishes while cleaning them without scratching the sink.I think 9 years of daily use proves it is a good product so I am buying a replacement mostly because the old one no longer looks nice and clean due to the light colored discoloration and some hard water deposits underneath. I think I will investigate a way to cleanly punch a few additional holes to improve water drainage.Update: The new model I received has larger holes on one side, but I still get pooling water unless I put the sponge slanted to keep it away from the holes. They can surely improve this further, and there is no reason for the holes to still be this small. On the other side, there is a huge hole likely meant for a brush, however I use it for another sponge and it works great as no water can pool!

Split Sink users buy now think later!
I had been using a suction cup style sponge holder for the longest time, regularly readjusting and cleaning off the suction cup so that it would adhere. This is exactly what I needed, straddles the sink without any concerns about suction, and is a simple rounded design with no weird nooks for bacteria to form. The two sides offer different types of drainage, with small holes for the sponge side and larger holes for a brush side, but I prefer the larger holes for my sponge, so I put a bar of soap on the smaller holed side. I was able to get this for $5 ish, and it is a great value at that price.

Great choice!
It holds dish sponges and scouring pads, keeping your sink area neat. Highly rated and practical, it’s a great choice for kitchen organization.

Too small for a standard sponge
Nope! This caddy is nice looking and well-made. But it is too small for a standard sponge - the type that look like SpongeBob SP. The sponge often falls into the dirty water or dirty dishes. Next time, I'll get a caddy with a larger pocket. Thank you

Works for what I needed. Quality is good. Color is Perfect.
Product was true bright red, exactly what i was looking for. No suction but holds very well and doesn't really get in the way. I love that this one doesn't have the suction and is moveable because I like to wipe the complete sink even where water may have splashed near the saddle. This makes it easy to lift up even with things in it and drop it back into place. Balance well for what I need it to hold just two stoppers and two sponges. It drains suprisingly really well. Over all design is similiar to one I spotted in the store but the red color was only here on amazon. Will order again if needed, thanks!

so stinkin Cute.
Ok so this could easily be re-designed to have a higher lip so standard sized sponges fit in it better - if I bump it with a plate or something, my sponge often falls out. And the holes in the bottom of each side could be larger and/or have twice as many so things drain better.But. but but but- I don't know... It just makes me happy to see it. I hated having sponges laying on my sink. I keep 2 in rotation, one for dishes and one for counters and whatnot. They were just unsightly hanging out on display for all to see. I got the caddy in mint green and if folks are just hanging out in my kitchen, you don't even notice it. And then when I go to the sink, there it is all bright and pretty and helpful and it just makes me happy.Side bar: I read a few reviews saying it won't last more than a year and it grows mildew etc and I would wager that's probably true, but mildew can be removed and I wouldn't expect a product that is constantly wet not to grow something. Nor would I really expect a product that costs less than $10.00 to last forever...So, the caddy is a nice appeasing color & it does it's job, it just could do it better.
