Micron Crucial 4Gb 1600Mhz Ddr3L 204-Pin Laptop Memory (Ct51264Bf160B)

I got it for Rs.1395. Its fully compatible with my Hp Pavilion G6-2101tx. Its a low power RAM (1.35v) however it has dual compatibility that means it can also operate on 1.5v without any problem.Regarding this particular RAM, it very reliable branded module and price tag is also very attractive. So go for this product without any hesitation.Now I want to tell you the difference that I feel in my laptop after inserting this, by which you will find the result yourself. My laptop comes with 2gb of RAM. With 2gb and windows 10(64 bit) installed, i can open only 4-5 applications easily, but beyond this, my system starts lagging everywhere. Even on just Chrome opened , 60-80% of my RAM were in use. But after adding this RAM( now total of 6gb RAM), I test it and i opened near about 30+ applications without any single lag (See my attached screenshot) and RAM used only 60-65%. Then I load a heavy game(usage was 75-80%), but I still face no any lag and it switch between apps very fast. Earlier with 2gb ram, when I run an os in virtual machine, it runs so slow and I cant use even one app with Virtual machine running, but after adding RAM, my Virtual machine is fast enough and i can run other apps too without any issue. I can realize the real power of my processor now which was degraded by low RAM earlier.So guys if you have low RAM, then I'll definitely recommend you for an upgrade to see the real power of your system. And one more thing I want to mention here that, i read some reviews that peoples are getting the wrong RAM model that is CT51264BF160BJ not CT51264BF160B ( letter "J" at last), but i ordered it from "SunriseNanotech" seller and they send me exact the same product as it mentioned on page. So no problem at all. I post a long review because I realize that reviews helps the buyer a lot. I want to cover all the points which I seeks when I was planning to buy this product. If ur laptop is running slow, it might be due to less availability of RAM space. To check this, open task manager (Ctrl+alt+delete) and check the memory tab. If it shows the memory usage is 70% and above even for low usage like basic applications, U definitely need more RAM.I have an i5 processor with Windows 10 OS. The laptop was dead slow. I was really pissed off by the laptop's processing speed.Then I did a bit of research and found out my laptop was lacking more main memory (RAM). Immediately I installed CPUZ application and checked all the properties of my existing RAM.Basically we have two slots for accomodating RAM, My lappy had 4GB DDR3 ram in one slot. I Checked the speed of my ram in command prompt. It was 1600Mhz.(just google how to do it). Remember to buy a RAM of same speed as that of ur pre installed RAM( In my case it was 1600Mhz) so that u benefit from parallel memory sharing. If u install new RAM having lower or higher speed, only the RAM with higher speed will be selected for processing so there's little or no use of adding a second RAM. So be very careful.Then on Amazon I found this amazing product form Crucial. When I installed and restarted, immediately changes were visible. Laptop boot speed increased and its now running upto the standards of the processor. Amazingly fast. Installation is very simple, just use YouTube and u can do it yourself. Got it for ₹2325.Totally satisfied with the purchase and thanks Amazon for quick delivery.

Even the service Centre guys ended this product Service. Crucial products not at all reliable.

The new RAM is performing as expected.I own Dell XPS L501X machine which is a 5 years old machine. I'm glad I made this purchase, as the performance improvement was quite noticeable.After doing some quick research on the internet, I learned that this brand has reasonable quality at a fair price. Would definitely recommend to go for it.If you own a branded machine and want to upgrade memory or move from HDD to SSD, their website has compatibility tool that will help you make your upgrade decision quicker and easier.Amazon is great, authentic and prompt as always. Always remember to filter your product search with 'Amazon fulfilled' or 'Prime' and you will be assured with genuine and fast (almost always before the promise date) delivery. Ecommerce buying couldn't be better.

Giving review after 2 months of using it.1. Doesn't seem it's working as 4GB RAM.2. Definitely increased the PC's speed but hardly 10 to15%.3. Not working well with heavy memory consuming softwares (like programming IDE or VMs).4. It's working as 2GB RAM.Rest it's up to you that what you need it for so, for me it's just OK but not even average.

This additional memory mproved my sluggish impossible laptop immensely. Unfortunately I bought it after I had updated my laptop, It was very easy to install and worked immediately and at the very least allowed me to transfer files etc to the new laptop in a timely manner.
