Great fit and very warma and comfrtable!

This is a comfortable jacket that does provide some extra warmth and save for my comment below I think it is a good looking jacket.My only criticism is that the logo plus product name on the front of the jacket are too prominent and it does make you look like you are about to go to service a boiler somewhere.A discreet logo perhaps on the back of the neck would be more stylish.

Bought this along with Berghaus goretex coat to zip-in.Been wearing last few days in the evening - very comfy, very lightweight and keeps you warm. In fact, sometimes too warm!This is a thin material micro fleece, I was wary at first, but after a while appreciated the material. It's close-fitting so would be suitable for layering over a tshirt/baselayer, would not really recommend so much over formal wear, say a suit).Overall would highly recommend, delivery was super-efficient and quick, this is a high quality garment that keeps you warm, zips right up to the neck, has 2 side zip pockets. It is ideal for wearing over a t-shirt and zipped into a jacket.The fit is quite close fitting so if you've got a gut beware and may need to order a larger size, I'm 5ft 10in, 185 lbs, 42in chest athletic build and it fits nicely. May be slightly long in the arms/body but that's not a problem as it's designed to also zip into a jacket. Gave it 5/5 for value at this price, would not pay the RRP of £45/50, at this price (£36) it's a steal

Bought for my partner!He felt it was nothing fancy ! Just a thin fleece .Not much style about it really.A bit disappointing really as we are usually very happy with berghaus.

I have always purchased Berghaus fleeces and I am a size large. This fleece is very thin and lightweight. The sleeves are very long about 5 cm longer than normal and it’s very tight in the body compared to previous Berghaus fleeces. It seems the quality is a far inferior and a big gripe is the sleeves are not lined. I understand now that only fleeces purchased with a jacket as part of the IA system are lined.

There's nothing wrong with it but you are paying a lot for a brand name. I bought to zip inside a waterproof jacket and that works fairly well. There's a loop to fasten the cuffs to the jacket so the sleeves don't come out but it would be handy if there was another point where it attached, maybe at the neck so it stays in place better.It's very toasty when worn with the jacket.I wouldn't buy it just to be used as a fleece on its own, you can get just as good quality for a fraction of the price.
