Noseband is pretty big, even on my 1200lb/550kg warmblood.
Very soft, comfortable halter. Not really ideal for training, so if you need a rope halter for training instead of preference, I would go for something more stiff with more knots on the noseband. The brass tips on the end of the tie did come off before I had even used it once, but they're not necessarily needed. I've used it plenty without them. The only issue I have is I don't use this on the horse I bought it for. I use it on an American Grade Draft weighing about 1700lbs and it fits her perfectly. The noseband and chin strap part of the halter were much too big for my 1200lb warmblood mare. That portion of the halter isn't adjustable so if it doesn't fit your horse, it will ride up and catch them in the eye if they're lowering their head for grass and you're trying to teach them not to.

Not a training halter
GR8 deal for the price & proper use. There seems to be several comments about this halter not being a good training halter. It's NOT a good training halter, but the description doesn't state that it is. A training halter will usually be smaller diameter, much stiffer, & usually have 4 knots instead of 2, to apply pressure to the nose for direction & correction. This is exactly what it says it is, a big diameter, soft rope, general usage halter. I haven't had them long enough to say anything about how they hold up, but they are exactly what I expected them to be, other than BIG! I would NOT say they are for an average size horse unless the horses is warmblood size! LOL. I have quarter horses, not known for big heads, & the halters are pulled up with well over a foot of rope hanging past the knot.

Not Teal
This is a nice halter but it is not TEAL, it is turquoise. Be warned when trying to find Teal, it’s hard. Dang. I’ll be returning it.

Fits easily
I love how soft this halter is. It's easy to put on and my horse responds to it much better then the traditional halter I used to use on her. I bought a different color for my other horse and they both look great in them.

Halter too soft
The rope this halter is made of is too soft for the halter to hold its shape, making it impossible to stand in the proper position to halter the horse. It takes both hands to place the nose band over the horse. This makes haltering slow and unsafe. If you have a greeen horse that pulls back when tied, the soft, loose weave will tighten so much you will never get this halter untied to halter the horse. If the horse isn’t dead broke, this halter will be worthless.

Decent quality, TOO SOFT, needs some stiffness for ease of use
Decent quality, TOO SOFT, needs some stiffness for ease of use. It's a good extra halter, but I like something with more texture/stiffness so i can easily toss it over and bump.

Not made from quality rope
Made with a cheap grade of rope that it soft and loosely braided. Not a quality rope halter. Will not last long.
