I find these to be far superior to ordinary flat-material N95 masks. The extra surface area from the accordion shape means it's easier to exhale, so you'll have less of the "smell your own breath" experience. And of course these are far superior at filtering airborne particles than ordinary surgical masks, gaiters, or the like.

They are a bit expensive.Have used them many times, I will use one max 8hrs and usually will rotate them (they last many uses), the elastic is adjustable and the fit is good.I have been exposed multiple times while wearing them, and so far I have not tested +.By far the best masks available.

I was very glad I had this mask on a recent airplane flight. A woman across the aisle coughed and hacked off and on during the four-hour flight. My glasses did not fog up, and the mask was fairly comfortable and I believe quite effective. I only took it off long enough to drink and eat.

the fatal flaw here is that without a nosebridge adjustment as with a metal plate, there is a large gap around my nose. this is unacceptable for obvious reasons.EDIT: a small piece of cotton with micropore taped to the underside of the nose bridge completely fixes the issue. now it's the best mask again with the best breathability and removes some odors.

It is actually awesome! The absolute best breathing mask I have ever had….. but, the rubber gasket that goes around your face gets miserably hot and gross feeling.I bought these expensive things because I wanted my son, employees & customers protected while inside their houses. My son was wearing one of these masks & kept telling me how miserable it was but I thought he was just being dramatic. About an hour or so in he took it off and said he was sorry but he can’t wear them. I was mad, I bought these “premium” masks & there not going to get used. Well then I got to experience it. I didn’t last 5 minutes. I tore out the rubber seal to try and make it bearable. It sort of worked, but then it tore (obviously, not meant to have that rubber ring of misery removed)I suggest steering clear of these wretched things….. unless you work in a freezer.If you think I am being annoying & whiney with this review then please, I implore you to not listen to me and by as many as you can. You’ll show me!!!

I have been wearing this exact mask 4800 airwave for years now and I received two boxes of these and they fit way different from past ones and the material is way thinner around the nose area.

Three times the surface area means three times the air flow.Seals to the face with neoprene which can be sweaty in hot and humid areas.The only mask I use
