Surprising sound in small pkg
So…my iPad stopped playing sounds, (too much moisture from an unfortunate ooops). There was an icon that said sound was via headphones. Ya know, you do an online search looking for help and someone suggested an external speaker. I liked the size (and price) of this one and gave it a go. It worked great! The next day my regular sound output returned to my iPad (but is super sensitive and cuts out when the humidity is high) but a few days later, I was back needing the speaker. It’s great to have around for those times when I need it. Small, compact, easy to use and recharge, with a fine sound. I am very happy!

Music anywhere.
Over the years I've probably bought a dozen of these. They work very well for portable sound and because they plug straight in there's no wire connections that don't work after a while because they last a long time.

Good at first, then stopped connecting.
This was a great little speaker for a month. I used it in my I Pad and Kindle. Would not fit in the I Phone. Then it stopped making a connection in both. I feel that the speaker is too heavy to continue making the connection since the spots on both products require it to just hang on by the thingie the goes into the I Pad and the Kindle. Eventually it just stopped making the connection. I finally just tossed it.

External speaker
Except for it won't plug in securely, it was great. It's a loose fit and I have to tape it to my MP3 player to work.

Speak Up
This was purchased to so my Mom could use her ipad for FaceTime calls. It does well allowing her to hear, but when she speaks her voice breaks up. Charge lasts pretty good. Still looking for something that works better.

Good for the price
When I bought this, I did not read the description very well and thought it was a lot smaller then it is. It says that it is about the size of the Golfball right in the specifications and I failed to read that, so that is my fault. I was hoping to have something that I could carry around in my shirt pocket, but this is way too big for that. It would be okay to carry in a purse or maybe cargo pants, but not a shirt pocket.Having said that, it does do what it claims that it will do. I have a Samsung Glaxay S6 Active smartphone that already has a pretty loud speaker, but sometimes, if there is a lot of cannot clearly hear it because I am partially deaf in my left ear and have bad tinnitus. I wanted something that was a lot louder than the built-in mic on my phone. There is no question that this mini mic is louder. It is definitely louder. How much louder is hard to tell though; so I decided to do some testing.I have a BAFX 3370 Digital Sound Meter that I bought here on Amazon about a year ago. I have a BAFX3370 Digital sound meter. I placed the phone about two inches from the sound meter and played a song as at max volume on the phone. I set the meter record the max Decibels. The phone maxed out at 89.4 decibels. I then played the same song on the phone with the mini speaker plugged in at max volume. It maxed out at 94.4 decibels. So, a total of 5 decibels of difference.I am no sound engineer, so I really don't know a lot about how to calculate what 5 decibels of difference is in terms of how much louder it is then 89.4 decibels. The fact is, decibels are hard to figure out, even by experts, because there are so many other factors that play a part. I present the results of this test only to show that the microphone is louder than the built-in speaker on my Galaxy S6 Active phone. That much is true. To my ear, this mini speaker is significantly louder than the speaker on the phone.I hope this review has been helpful. If it has, please smash the "HELPFUL" button. Thanks

Love it! Love it! Love it! Buy! Buy! Buy!
Works very good. Amplifies sound of my tablet /laptop (which does not have very good sound at least depending on what website I am listening to).Important: I use a "NPS Audio Auxiliary Stereo Extension Audio Cable 3.5mm Stereo Jack Male to Female, Stereo Jack Cord " along with this speaker since plugging the speaker directly to the jack on the tablet computer would be awkward since the USB port is too close to the 3.5 jack.I also use the speaker ( along with the mentioned cord) to plug into my small inexpensive AM/FM radio and then I can put the speaker under my pillow and listen to the radio as I am resting in bed. This speaker works much better than some "speakers" specifically designed to put under your pillow. The sound quality of this speaker may not be "the ultimate listening experience." . It mainly just enables me to hear audio much better from my tablet computer and certain other devices. I have yet to try it on any cell phone I have .I don't need a very complicated audio system. I just to listen to watch and listen to educational videos, watch and listen to live streams of sport events over the internet, etc. This little speaker is great. It is very portable. Perhaps other speakers may have a more "low profile" design but I have searched online and have not seen a better combination of function and compact-ness.I don't yet know about the longer-term durability. I have only been using it for a certain amount of time.I am not sure if it has been a complete year yet, but I love this item. I would recommend it.I will update review if necessary.

Good sound
I use it mostly for my mp3 player and audio books and it's great for that, good sound and lasts long enough. My device is hard to adjust sound, so the only thing I wish is that it had independent sound control. Love the bright color so makes easy to find!
