Whenever Purrble wakes up from sleep, Purrble will be a bit startled, and have a rapid heartbeat. Purrble doesn't respond to loud noises, but is sensitive to sudden movements! You'll discover a note from Dr. Treebury inside Purrble's packaging, describing how Purrble doesn't like to be held upside down. Shakes, sudden movements, or pressing Purrble's ears will also wake and startle Purrble.

Q: Do these last a long time for durability?

I'd say it's very durable and predict it will last a long time. I got Purrble for my daughter last Christmas and 10 months later, it's still in great shape! She sleeps with it every night and sometimes it falls out of bed and thumps on the floor but it's never been a problem. Other than that she's always very gentle with it. We love this thing, it really has been a wonderful companion for my daughter.

The toy is very sensory. Your grandson will be able to enjoy this toy with touch. It purrs and it’s heart beats. It’s also soft. It makes sounds also but the purrs and heart beat are a physical rumble.
