Q: Do the round ones fit more meds than the rectangle?

I can't tell you positively but the rectangle shape would probably be a better choice. The round one is separated into three compartments and you can't fit many meds in there. Also, the latch is not the greatest on this item. I might as well have just dumped the pills on the bottom of my purse because that's where they end up anyway with this item. I would look for another brand that has a different type of latch.

Q: Do the pills get mixed up once closed?

Mine don’t. The dividers are high enough that when closed there seems to barely be any space between the top of the divider and the mirror on the inside. I don’t see how pills would be able to move compartments while closed.

Q: Is that a dog sitting with the elephant?

Yes it is! but I got the marble on.
