Used for a triathlon - loved them
I’m too tall for a tri-suit (6’6” and a 240 muscular build) so I opted for tri shorts and put a tank top on for the bike and run. I loved these shorts, they were high quality and comfortable. I have trained religiously in them for about half a year and I was them everytime I train so they get abused by the elements and my washer/dryer and they still look brand new. They’re light and have plenty of space in the pockets for energy gels. I put the energy gels in while I was in the bike, and during the swim noticed that the pockets have ventilation in them to allow for water to get out and not pool. Very well designed and work great

Perfect Tri Shorts Great Fit & Unbeatable Price!
My husband absolutely loves these triathlon shorts! He wore them for all his training and even on race day for his Ironman, and they held up perfectly. The fit is spot-on: comfortable, supportive, and no chafing even on long rides or runs. For the price, you really can’t beat the quality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable tri shorts without breaking the bank!

Solid purchase
Bottom line:This tri short fits well, is comfortable, and functional.I am 5'9, 165 lbs, 32" waist. I generally wear medium shorts/pants, medium or large tops. I ordered a large for these tri shorts and they fit perfect. Legs do not ride up, and the padding is just right.Read on for those interested:With this said, understand that I am looking for a comfortable functional fit. I am 60, runner for 40 years, triathlete for 20 years at all distances. Intermediate ability at all, not looking (expecting) to win races, but still enjoy pushing myself to get the best performance I can muster. I get the whole "compression" thing, but I have no interest in feeling, nor looking, like a hot dog balloon with bungee cord cinched around my middle. This is exactly how I feel when I wear supposed compression shorts. I think the only people who can get away with compression shorts are those that are thin enough that their ab muscles are showing, meaning zero fat at the middle. Anyone else (even me at a 32" waist) is in for a very uncomfortable fit.It should be obvious that I am pretty picky about fit for tri shorts, when I find a pair I like, I tend to wear them completely out. I suspect this pair will be my next "go to" tri shorts. They are comfortable in the swim, bike, and run. I dont feel that strongly about the leg pouches as I really dont use them. I tend to run with a water bottle belt with pocket anyway. But if you do not do this, I think the pockets would be very helpful.

It was a good fit for me and comfortable
Short story: Very comfortable, definitely worth it for me, I used it for my first ever triathlon and definitely glad I got it, so I did not have to change during the transitions. I am not an enthusiastLong story:I wore this for a reverse (will be relevant later) sprint triathlon and it was great. It was comfortable. For me, the fit was snug but not too snug to the point of uncomfortableness during the running. And it was not a loose snug to where I felt like it was going slide down if I had anything in the pockets. Speaking of the pockets, they performed marvelously. In fact, it was comfortable during the 5k running portion, which came first (remember, reverse tri instead of the regular progression). I had my phone in the pocket section the whole time and I hardly noticed it. Then, came the biking portion and the phone didn't have any issues staying while I was pedaling and sometimes at high cadence since there was a lot of uphill and I had to stay on lower gear. No issues with it sliding out or anything of the sort. And the padding was sufficient to keep my behind from hurting on the 8.2 mile biking portion. However, by the time I finished the running and biking, I had totally forgotten about having my phone in the pocket and I jumped into the pool with it. Impressively, it stayed in the pocket throughout the first half of the swim before I remembered I had it in there, reached into the pocket, got my phone out, and placed it on the edge of the pool, and went my merry way to finish the rest of the swim. I was definitely happy with these shorts because I did not want to wear board shorts or straight up competitive swimwear (jammers) for both the run and the bike portion since those were first. All in all, I am happy I got this and it definitely made my first triathlon enjoyable.

It's alright
It has a nice pocket feature and fits well. My only issue is that when I last swam with it, there was some chaffing, which I never felt in my usual swim wear.
