Rayon fabric is nice but the skirt not so much
The fabric is rayon, not cotton in the red version I got. Rayon is nice cooling fabric, ideal for summer. It gets softer after the wash, it drapes nicely. It feels pleasant to the skin. To the subject of a skirt design: it is either poor design or something went wrong in manufacturing, and here is the reason why: The skirt description states high waist or/ rise. I am an average 5.5’, 120 pound, typical female body but the two wholes in the waist is designed for thicker waist. In order for this skirt to sit in my natural waist, I would have to make two extra wholes into the inner part of a waist line to be a high waist. With the two wholes as they are now, the skirt falls on to my hips. The tie or ribbon attached to tie the skirt is too short, inevitably one ribbon has to come around the whole waist in order to meet the other. It can barely do that. Making those two extra wholes to sit high in my natural waist still would not solve the waist too large because as many customers commented, it would pull part of the ruffled seam into a whole make it look bulky, unflattering. The skirt continues to have yet another issue: since it is cut in a cone like shape with the top cut off (where the waist line is), too little material was given to make this comfortable wrap around skirt. As a result of ruffle hemmed to the cone like shape base of a skirt, by hemming the ruffle, the cone like shape is tighten so you can actually feel the seem against the skin making the skirt pencil skirt making you feel constricted in it. As a result we cannot consider this product a wrap around skirt in which standing feels already uncomfortable, not alone to squat, lean or move freely. Considerably a wider cone like shape cut of this rayon fabric, the ruffle hemmed to it, and the ties/ribbons sawn in the waist must match the wider edge of a cone base to be able to wrap it around the waist comfortably. With wider cone shape base would then accommodate the hemmed ruffle in the way that it would not constrict the body, and the seem touching the skin in a constricted way it does now. I can only use this as an apron if I decide to keep it, and investing the time to modify the waist by making extra wholes. I agree with other customers who expressed the same reaction to this skirt. It is too bad that such a beautiful fabric could have been cut better. I hope then the designer (manufacturer) listen to customers comments, and modify the further cutting of this beautiful fabric to make their skirt one of customers favorite. The description states it is cotton. The skirt I received is 100% rayon, $21.99 in red. As it is now, no, I would not recommend buying this skirt unless the original design is modified according to the customers reviews and comments. There are other wrap around skirts Amazon offers that are one size fits most, sit in the natural waist, and allow for a free movement.

Figure out the waistband slits
I wasn't sure about this at first. After I put it in the washer and dryer, the fabric drew a tiny bit and I noticed all the holes in the waistband. I put the string through the tightest hole, and also had to pull some of the fabric through the hole as well, to get it tight enough for my waist. So yes, it is one size fits all, once you figure it out. I wore it and it was secure, stayed all day, and I got many compliments. However, I wish there were more holes in the waistband for more sizing.

A very nice wrap skirt.
I love the skirt's breezy, lightweight cotton and ruffled hem; the colors are a true match with the photo example provided. My only disappointment is that, as a maxi, it should be ankle length. I'm 5'7" and found this skirt to be midi length. It is advertised as one-size. To accommodate slimmer waistlines, an extra eyelet in the waistband to thread the tie would help.

Pretty colors
Loved the colors. It was confusing for me to understand how to actually put it on bc it’s a wrap that you need to tie.Due to it being a wrap, I’m most likely going to return it.

Size/fit
This is a beautiful skirt! I wanted to keep it but it was just too big. Im 27 in waist. 36 inch hip and it wrapped around too much. Too fussy to get it just right for my liking.

Inaccurate fit measurements in description
Will not fit anyone with hips smaller than 37". My hips are 35" around and there is an extra couple inches at the smallest this skirt can be wrapped without beginning to pull the ruffle through the hole in the waistband (and therefore causing it to bunch up, unflatteringly). See photos. The opening of the hole intended for the tie to be pulled through is half the width of the actual tie, so it has to be folded over and doesn't lie smoothly. When I tied it around without using the hole (as typical wrap skirts have to hold it in place), the amount of fabric that overlaps leaves half the front ruffles hidden and the other half at an odd spot on my body. Also because it overlaps so much, it was hard to move around easily as it constricted leg movement with this type of fabric (no stretch). The pattern is beautiful in the blue color but the fabric wrinkles pretty severely.

Not a one size
This skirt isn't a one size. I measured to ensure it would fit but it defintely didn't. I wish I had a picture to show. WHere you wrap the skirt around your waist was abotu 4 inches too big and unless I pulled it, it wouldn't stay up. But by pulling it it pulled the material into the loop abd bunched it up. The material itself is soft and silky on the skin and quality is great if not abit on the see thru side. Sizing is large
