Great cooler without buying ice 😊
Already tested inside with 120 outlet and cooler was very cool. Looking forward to using it on trips and while surf fishing and don’t have to worry about buying ice 😊

This cooler actually cools! And the seller is top-notch.
I bought this cooler to use in a vehicle on long trips and for camping, hoping that the chilling capability would keep food fresh without ice longer (indefinitely if the power is on) and make life easier. Mission accomplished! We took a week-long road trip with the cooler packed at the start and no ice. Most of the time it was riding in the back of an SUV plugged into the 12V cigarette lighter style power plug that is only on when the vehicle is running, so it was off when in parking lots etc. At each stop everything inside was icy cold. Not frozen, but cold. And when we went into the cooler after a day of activities outside the car with the chiller not running, it was still cold. So the insulation quality of this cooler is also excellent. We never detected noise while driving -- it's quiet enough to be inconsequential when there is normal road/wind noise in a car. We took it into a hotel room a couple nights and plugged it into the 120V. You could hear it if you specifically listened, but my whole family paid no attention to it. In fact the noise it does make is a calm 'whooshing' sound, much like artificial white noise generators some people use to help them sleep. It's a gentle background noise, not a nuisance at all. The designers of this cooler did a good job selecting a fan and air path that does not rattle, buzz, vibrate, or otherwise make noise that penetrates your mind. Some other reviews mention water. People need to understand that when you take a mass of warm, moist air and reduce its temperature, the water in it will condense into liquid. So if you're in a moist environment and first turn it on, expect some drops of water. After the mass of air sealed inside the cooler has chilled, there is no more water to condense - Those first few drops are the end of it. Now, if you don't seal your lid (such as if you over-stuff the cooler) then you'll have outside air circulating through the chiller and condensing... a continuous source of moisture. Over time this could cause quite an accumulation of liquid water condensing in your cooler, not to mention it won't be cold. If this happens to you, you are the problem. There is nothing wrong with this design - It's just physics. So close your lid tightly and you'll be fine. Finally, this is a great seller. At the end of our trip we had a problem with one wheel. I contacted the seller - they communicated quickly and completely and helped me resolve the problem quickly. I would buy from them again for sure and recommend others trust them also.

Cool Tool. Updating performance.
2-YEAR UPDATE:Very cool product! I have been running my Kbox 24/7 for the past month travelling. 12vdc while driving, then 110vac in hotel rooms. It has been reliable as a constant-on fridge! It does create a small amount of condensation but a small trade-off for chilled food/drink. Cold enough to preserve dairy products @ normal expiry.Still appreciate it's stealthy "I'm just a cooler!" design. And it has proven to be durable and easily cleaned.Excellent product for the price.[PS- re below: Handles have NOT broken... yet]6-MONTH UPDATE:Still satisfied. A few tech tips:Recently used for beach camping @12vdc, powered by a new large (1000CCA) extra vehicle battery: battery lasted about 48-hours, keeping food/bev adequately chilled (given deep-discharge powering kbox, for later re-charging only use deep-cycle battery). At home, currently using as a full-time upstairs supplemental fridge @110vac.PRO: - On AC, keeps well-chilled. Similar interior cubic area to typical "mini-fridge".CON: - Fan runs constantly. Not certain of the AC current-draw, but that advises a dedicated mini-fridge with a thermostat-controlled fan.- If left unopened while AC-Powered for days, the area of the inside lid around the condensor starts to ice (but doesn't obstruct fan).[Previous notes]One trip so far, but a few notable positives:- Keeps bevs well-chilled (although it isn't currently particularly warm outside).- It is excellent for rolling into any lodging lacking a fridge.- The "cooler look" is discrete, which also may make it less attractive to thieves. The obvious downside is no freezer. I fail to see how its "warm" cooler function would be useful, and would gladly swap that for a freezing compartment.Anyway, it seems like a wise buy. Time will tell re durability and cooling during [Northern] summer months. I'm guessing the handles will fail first.
