I read other reviews on this before I purchased and was a bit unsure but really wanted to help my little elderly pug mix. Once I added this to his food, because he refuses to eat any treats other than those he has approved of, he stops coughing and hacking for most of the day. For him at least it is like a miracle. It is not a cure by any means but it eases his distress and that is what counts! I don't know if it will work for everyone by give it a try if you want. If you have a dog like mine, all you want is his comfort and this provides it. At least for him it does.

Dog recovered almost immediately. He had sever kennel cough which went away completely within the week of using cough relief. He enjoyed every bite.Very grateful!!

One did the trick for our 15lb Maltipoo. She did get a bit dry after day 2.

I used these for a week and my dog’s cough got worse. I don’t know if it’s because of his advanced age, but once I stopped the medicine, he still had cough, but it wasn’t as bad.
