Completely different uses, but hear me out - for a modest $, you can have a cleaning extension pole AND and extendable amateur radio post for field use! There are even 3D printable STLs for the threaded ends of these things.

It's really a nice and sturdy pole. I love that the thread area is longer to make for a sturdy connection.

Good for cleaning roof and high places. One snap would not stay on the first pole but the seller replaced it for me. Easy to use, lightweight and fits our extension tools with a universal screw on the end

I have a very high peak roof area at the front of our house. The pole I am presently using needed to have several extensions added to reach that peak (usually to remove wasps nests that had started). The extensions were very flexible and allowed bending. I saw this 24ft pole and it was very reasonably priced. So it just arrived the other day. Went out right away to try it. At full extension, the top was still fairly rigid with a very acceptable amount of flex. At full extension, it was actually longer than I needed, so lowering the top section reduced the flex and made it really quite sturdy. The attachment I had fit the threaded end perfectly. VERY happy with this purchase. The extension clips are plastic but seemed to be sturdy enough for its purpose. Each extension section can be locked in any position. The foam handle pieces weren't a necessity for me, but they are there.

Husband wanted to go all Christmas vacation this year so he found the brightest lights he could and put them in the big tree in our yard. In order to get them put in the tree without breaking his neck, he used this extendable pole. Worked like a charm. On a dark night with snow on the ground, you could use our yard for landing lights...

This Pole has saved me twice already - in 3 months. As much as I enjoy being on a ladder with 5 broomsticks taped together, i feel much safer now with my new Pole. Locks are sturdy enough - Don't try to Pole Vault with this but for light duty stuff - getting to the top of a very tall tree is no longer an issue. A+
