I bought this product - 12,000 BTU, 115V in January and took my time installing it. I would break it up into 2 parts. Install your electric FIRST. Make 100% certain the 20 amp switch is working before you proceed with the installation guide. The installation guide is very helpful. TAKE YOUR TIME, read the instructions (even sleep on it if you aren't certain) before you proceed with each step. There aren't very many steps to this installation. ***One thing the instructions or product information isn't clear about is that this unit most likely WILL NOT REQUIRE ADDITIONAL REFRIGERANT. They disclose this on their website, but not here on Amazon. If you use the 16ft copper refrigerant lines that come with the product, no refrigerant is needed.

I bought this one for my garage/workshop. Works as expected. I have replace all of my central air with mini splits for the efficiency and room by room temperature control. Did the same thing in my last house so I have a good bit of experience with them. One thing to keep in mind is there aren’t many actual manufacturers, they just change the stickers to change the brand names.

Pleasantly surprised. You could hang meat in the room.All the remote functions don't seem to work, but everything that does work, works great.

Although this mini-split A/C is advertised as including an installation kit, I soon realized that it wasn't precharged with R32 freon and required professional installation, instead of being a DIY install. R32 is only sold to licensed A/C contractors, so although I have a vacuum pump, I still would need to pay several hundred $ on top of the sales price.Within 10 minutes of placing my order on May 13, I tried to cancel it, but was informed that it was already too late, but could refuse delivery from UPS, which I did a week ago. My Amazon Prime CC has been charged $619. This A/C is still listed under my orders, but labeled 'Cancelled'. I'm sure that UPS has returned it by now, but I'm still waiting for my refund, before ordering another similar priced model, that's precharged, and easy to DIY install.I've been shopping with Amazon for several years, but have never had problems with cancelling, returning items, nor had to wait in limbo for my refund, which usually happens as soon as the returned item is in UPS possession.While waiting, the AZ temperatures are rising to 100 degrees, yet I will need to wait at least another week for the other A/C, assuming it is still available , plus additional days to install. ]-(EDIT: 2 weeks later.Just received email notification that this order will be delivered today 🤯. I assume that is is the later shipment of the 2nd unit, will also be rejected, and Amazon will issue my refund once they have it in their possession.EDIT/Correction: The previous email notification on May 21, indicated that the delivery would be to my home, so I replied to not deliver; received a reply that the email address wasn't monitored. Again, I placed the 'do not deliver' sign at my door to refuse delivery.UPS went out of their way to remove the sign and scattered the metal weights around my yard.Tracking revealed that the delivery was actually the May 21 return to Ontario, CA @12:41 PM .Today is May 24 and I'm still waiting for my refund.This has been the worst experience I've ever had with an Amazon order.Meanwhile, I have already installed the indoor Costway unit, have received the vacuum pump kit to purge the lines, and will receive the outdoor mounting bracket tomorrow to complete my DIY installation.

so far it's working great, it was easy to install. as of now it's great

Just got my Yitahome 12,000 BTU mini split installed. It's not hot enough yet to see how it works cooling down the room. But when we turned it on it was so quiet we couldn't really tell if it was working or not. It was, blowing out nice cool air. It's like being stopped at a stop light and having a Rolls Royce Silver Cloud pull next to you. You can see it, know it's there but can't hear it!
