Great little batteries that can individually be charged as necessary via usb-c! As mentioned by others, NO error code message displayed in the camera, unlike other generic batteries I've been using for years! Used one of these newer batteries today in my Sony 7cii in freezing below ZERO temps with windchill about mid- to lower teens due to very high winds, and the battery lasted the whole two hours out, dropping to about 20%. Recharging took less than an hour. After the next few months, will probably buy more to replace my older generic batteries, which I'll keep as standby batteries.

Llano is one of those aftermarket camera brands that I know I can trust. I own many of their battery cases and batteries and have never had a single issue with them. These FZ100 batteries that I use in my A7 seem to hold a similar charge but enable me to charge them out of the camera via USB-C cable. No aftermarket battery warning popped up in my camera, either. No complaints here!

I have a few llano batteries and chargers for various cameras but this Sony-compatible NP-FZ100 battery is the best yet because it has an on-board USB-C charge port; no separate battery charger needed. I find this fantastic for two reasons:1) I can charge anywhere I have some kind of power, be it an electrical outlet, my car’s usb port, or a portable charge bank. I always have a charge bank with me so as soon as this battery is dead I can plug it in to charge while I continue finding feather friends in the woods. It literally gives me endless battery power for a day hike.2) Because no separate battery charger is required it means I have less gear to pack. A battery charger is small and light, but it’s something else to keep up with, and it still takes up room in a bag.And while the battery CAN be charged via USB-C, it also charges in a conventional charger like any other FZ100 size battery. I do not own the OEM Sony charger but in my 3rd party charger is charges the same as my other OEM and 3rd party FZ-100 batteries. So having the USB-C charge port doesn’t mean you need to sacrifice your dual charger. The USB-C port just offers an extra way to charge.For reference I use this battery with the ZV-E10 II and have never seen error codes or had any other problems with the camera using this battery.The build quality of this battery is on-par with other excellent llano batteries I own. Physically I see no difference between the OEM battery and this one. However, from a use standpoint, even though the llano has slightly more powerful, at least on paper, it’s shooting time (90% @ 4K 30p video, 10%@ 4K 60p) is about 15% less in my experience. For me this battery lasts for about 1hr 40m under these conditions in above freezing temps. I don’t use this body for shooting stills so I can’t report how many frames before battery is exhausted but guessing subtract 20% from what you get with the OEM battery.Llano cleverly made this battery blue which makes identifying it among black non-usb port equipped batteries easy. It also has a red LED to indicate when it’s charging. This light turns off when the battery is ready for use. The battery gets comfortably warm when charging – not anything near hot – and then cools completely when charging is finished. From this I conclude it’s “smart” enough to stop charging when it’s at max charge.

I got this battery for a relative that uses an old used Sony a7iii. It works reliably. Capacity is good. the price is great.

I love that this battery plugs into USB C directly. It charges fairly well using USB. It also recharges the old regular way as well.Now the disadvantage is that this battery seems to charge slower than my OEM batteries. Not so sure how they have the electronics jammed in there and have the mAh at the same amount as an OEM. I never run my batteries till dead, but I will say that it lasted 1h of 4K recording and on a separate charge, 300 RAW shots to a fast SD on an a1.I don't mind having a few of these. I like them!This item is a RECOMMEND!

If you're shopping for an NP-FZ100 battery, you're most likely either looking to replace your ageing battery, or you want to purchase a backup secondary battery.In my case, I got this battery for both of these reasons. The battery that came with my Sony A7R III is no longer lasting as long as I would like, AND I would like to have a backup and to be able to switch batteries when one of them runs out.Typically, if I'm out-and-about traveling and doing photography, I will use a power bank to recharge my battery while it's still in the camera if the battery begins to die on me. However, this isn't really a long-term solution, because then I end up needing to recharge my power bank AND also needing to carry a power bank in the first place.This llano battery replacement is amazing. Not only is it brand new with a higher battery capacity than Sony's battery (2,400mAh vs 2,280mAh, respectively), but you can charge this llano battery by itself, without needing Sony's charging dock or charging it through the camera. This is such a convenient feature to have, I can't believe I've made it this far without it.This battery held up extremely well, charged very well, and it has had absolutely no flaws.Not only is it a great replacement for the battery that came with my Sony camera, but it's in fact superior, in price, capacity, and features.If you're on the fence, don't hesitate to get it!
