After two post-grad degrees, I have become an avid note taker. Though my academic career has slowed, I still take a lot of handwritten notes during meetings and lectures. Though I consider myself great note taking, I still miss things sometimes. Many meetings that I attend are not recorded and there is no rewind button when sitting there in the moment. It wouldn’t look good to continuously ask the speak to repeat something. This pen recorder is fantastic. It is discreet as a recording device as well as a high quality as a writing instrument. It truly is the best of both worlds. There is a slight learning curve with the recording. The red light / blue light takes a minute to get used to, especially when trying to pay attention to what you’re listening to while you’re writing. It would be easier to just click a button and automatically know its recording and maybe a separate button to know when you’re not recording anymore. The pen comes with a 64 Gig memory card, which is extensive for a recording device. The pen is comfortable to write with and writes very well. It comes with extra refills. My only concern is that I’m not sure how long they will last with the amount of usage I anticipate. The headphones is a great touch. The audio comes through clearl I made a great choice with this pen.

I recently purchased the ZIPCIDE 64GB Digital Voice Recorder and I couldn't be more impressed. This pen is a fantastic recording tool! I have multiple meetings daily and always attempt to take detailed notes. This pen has come to my rescue in reviewing my meetings and generating minutes or notes and actions. It looks like a standard pen (see pictures) and is comfortable to hold. I really appreciate that it comes with extra ink, which should last for over a year.The audio quality is crystal clear, picking up voices even in a crowded room. The voice-activated function is a game changer. During my meetings, it starts recording only when it detects sound, which saves so much space and reduces the need for constant recharging.It comes with 64GB of storage, which is more than enough for a week's worth of recordings. I love that it's compact, lightweight, and super easy to operate. You get everything you need to get started in the box: the pen recorder, 64 GB TF card, headphones, micro-USB cable, controller, 5 replacement refills, screwdriver, and manual.I have found this pen recorder to be truly versatile and invaluable during my daily meetings. I highly recommend it!

I needed a discreet recorder for my meetings which did seem like I was using my phone as I wanted to be respectful and give my full attention. This pen recorder fit the bill. I personally love the 1 button control. Makes it sure easy to turn on, record and end. The pen itself....well looks like a pen and the size of one as well, which is great. I did not think all this function fit, but with a micro SD, pen refills, cables, it all was a breeze to use. I have to say, when I a reviewing my recordings, I can hear all participants, with the occasional tap which is my doing. Comes with headphones and controller so do not need a computer to listen to them, and when I get back to my desk, I just save the recordings, rename with date and topic. Saves me a bunch from having to recall, especially if there are important details which I may have neglected to write down. Excellent item and happy user.

First and foremost, I was completely surprised at how good the recording quality was on this pen. I expected it to be audible, but not great...I was wrong. As a pen, it's a little top-heavy (to be expected I suppose), which made my writing a little less neat. That said, it wrote smoothly and the ink didn't smear (which as a lefty is nice). I was really close to giving this a 5-star, but the build quality is just a little less than a 5. Specifically, you have to take the pen apart to access the charging port, SD card, etc., which is no big deal; however the smoothness of the two pieces going together was lacking a bit. Deal breaker? Not by any means, but it just plants the tiniest of seeds that maybe it won't last forever. Maybe it's a nit pick, maybe not. All in all though, it was a really close call between a 4 and 5.

I’ve used it in meetings and lectures, and it picks up voices from across the room with no problem.The battery life is excellent, and I love that I can easily transfer recordings to my computer with the included USB adapter. It also writes well, so it truly functions as both a pen and a recorder. Setup was simple and straightforward.If you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use recording device that blends in perfectly in a professional setting, this is it. Highly recommended!

Does not work. Instructions are not in understandable English. And there is nothing to tell you if you’re recording or not.

I’ve been using this ZIPCIDE recorder for work meetings and it’s been fantastic. The audio quality is super clear thanks to the AI noise reduction, even when people are talking softly or there’s background noise. The voice activation feature works well, it only records when someone is actually speaking, which saves a ton of time during playback. Battery life is solid, and 64GB is more than enough storage for my needs. Compact, reliable, and great value for the price. Highly recommended!
