The best accessory thus far for my GX550. Big miss by the factory to not do this.

As other people mentioned they come folded in a box, but I just put a weight on them for about a day and they were fine. The fitment is good and the quality is fine. I do recommend buying 4 nuts (6m x 1.0) instead of using the wingnuts they supply.

Item comes folded up to save on shipping costs but easily gets back to shape. I used a hairdryer to speed up the process. Install utilizes all existing holes and will require a screwdriver and an Allen wrench to remove the existing hardware. I upgraded the included wingnuts with my own stainless M6 locking nuts to make sure they could withstand the elements it will be exposed to. Not sure if this was necessary but worth it for me for the peace of mind.As you can see, this splash guard covers up the once open area when you open the rear doors. I got these more for clothing protection when my wife and I put our child in the car seat, but keeping the door edge clean is a nice benefit.

Poor packaging put a very significant bent on one of the sides. The hardware kit included is basically useless so be prepared to but something that would fit.

It was folded in half and is bent - the plastic stretched and will not return to normal. Not Impressed.

These should have come on the GX550 here in North America stock. They didn’t but I’m glad to have them now. Seller shipped these very quick from China and even though they were folded in the box tightly, they opened up with heat from the sun quickly and no creases were found. It is very IMPORTANT to heat these up first with a heat gun or sunlight before install. They fit flawlessly.

Without this the amount of dirt and grime that accumulates in the door is horrible! We live in a very wet area so this is really going to help with keeping door cleaner! …..it is a bit of a pain to install but once in it’s a good fit
