I purchased the PlexusDx Food Sensitivity and Allergy Kit because for years I’ve struggled with vague digestive symptoms and wanted clarity on what my body might be reacting to. With something as important as your health, I do not want guessing or vague promises.The kit arrive within 24hrs and registering was incredibly easy right from my phone. Everything felt high quality. No confusion, no glitches. After registering, it was a simple saliva swab into the test tube and then into the discrete pre addressed and metered mail bag. I received text message updates at every step too. That gave me confidence.I should have the results with 2-4 weeks and I am looking forward to finally understanding my body’s sensitivities to things like alcohol, dairy, gluten, and other allergens. I had some health concerns years ago and saw a dietitian, who recommended a food allergies test. That provided some useful information but I had to go through her to order the test, and needed to rely on her to interpret the results. The information provided in the test was useful, and I was able to make some dietary changes as a result of the test.However, many things have changed since that time in my life, and I’m curious to know if my overall health improvement has resulted in any shifts in my food sensitivities. I wanted to order directly from a site this time, rather than need to go through a provider, and I appreciated that PlexusDx is clear about the results that I will receive. They are also totally comprehensive in what they test, and I am looking forward to the specificity of the genotype recommendations in particular.I received the test in a day or two after I ordered, and am looking forward to receiving my results in a few weeks - I’ll update my review at that time!

Spammy company. Possibly scam. Do not order. Results take over a month when other companies are resulting in a week or less. They will start emailing you immediately wanting you to spend more money for other tests when you don’t even have your results back. I ordered two other tests from two other companies after this test. Both are resulted and done. This one is still just sitting in their lab not being processed. Won’t spend another dime.

I have struggled with food sensitivities and allergies for years and have done many rounds of different kinds of testing. Due to being exposed to toxic black mold, my sensitivities jumped around and changed often. Now that I'm recovering from that mold, I have no idea what foods are and aren't on my trigger list. I chose this test because it will help me get a picture of what foods may be a challenge for me genetically, not because of the mold, and what foods are likely safe for me to eat now. Also, they show the report style on their website, and it looks so easy to understand, not just a table of numbers that I can't make heads or tails of. This test was incredibly simple and easy to take, and I can't wait to get my results back in a couple of weeks. I'll update the review once I get them!
