It's almost good, but
The product worked as advertised, but configuring is was a bit tedious and cumbersome. The one I received also has a pixel issues as I see the black "black" blotches on the screen so I'm assuming the LCD panel must be damaged during shipment. I posted a photo and you will see a "black" line or blotches on the upper right corner of the screen. The ones I saw in the Instagram reels, they are clear of these screen "stains." All I could say is buy at your own risk. I'm not sure how good or bad their tech support is.

Look at the pictures again
I got exactly what is pictured and described. Notice the angle of the picture and the image displayed, very carefully photographs the product.I "know" about computers and wifi so I was able to put pictures on it.

Setup is cumbersome not worth the price
First of all this device is tiny, initial setup was very hard as it was not connecting to WIFI with the password and access point selected. No matter what I tried it didn't connect and kept returning to the setup screen. I had to use the personal hotspot on my phone to establish a connection and use it. After the setup it displays an IP address for 5 seconds that you need to note to be able to change the settings after a successful internet connection and it was also very hard to connect to the IP address to change the settings. After hassling a long time I was able to get to the settings page, there are not many options and it is quite limited, checking the developers github page there are no firmware updates and looks like there are no new releases. I am not sure if I can tell there's active development. It is a ESP32 development board with an OLED screen that is running a custom firmware is my guess. If you're not computer savvy steer clear of this.As far as the device goes it is small and hard to see the display if it's not placed at eye level or angled in a way that you're able to se the information displayed. Definitely not a desktop accessory in that sense. I am not able to see the display from where I sit once it's placed on my desktop. It is a gadget and geeky but I would not recommend it for the price, there are probably a million cheaper ones out there with similar functionality.

Impressive Little Gadget
I'm absolutely impressed with this gadget! It's compact, well-designed, and surprisingly powerful. The WiFi connectivity is a game changer, pulling in highly accurate info directly from the Internet. Plus, you can upload GIFs to personalize the display.I love having my favorite anime characters pop up! It’s such a unique and fun feature. Overall, it's super easy to use and adds a lot of personality to my space.

Nice little display, a little limited by firmware, bad viewing angle
The cube is pretty cool and really interesting. Setup was pretty easy and all I had to do was connect to my wifi and it was up and running. You can configure it through a web interface by logging into the IP it gets from your router. I had to set my location using my city code, but other than that the configuration is pretty straight forward as far selecting your display units and what you want to display. You can choose between a date/time/weather interface, or have it display pictures and or gifs. You can configure it to show a static picture or cycle through multiple. You can upload your own pictures and gifs as well but you will need to make sure you have them formatted correctly beforehand, and there isn't much space on it so they will need to be pretty small. This cube has so much potential too and I have seen others that display information like stocks, RSS feeds, PC stats, etc.The firmware loaded on it seems pretty limited at the moment but it is linked on github so I assume it's possible to load other firmware on it that may enable more features. I will do more experimenting with it and hope to unlock more functionality in the future, but for now at least it's a cool little desk clock. My major complaint though the viewing angle on it. You really have to look at it straight on to see it clearly, and since it comes on a flat holder you have to elevate it pretty high to get it at eye level for this. You can fix this by angling the cube up which I did by stuffing some shims under it which work for now. I'm going to print an angled stand for it which should resolve this issue, but it's a real design oversight from the factory.
