Real world performance of a 65GB compressed file ran at average of 361 MBps
CrystalDiskMark speed test at default settings came in at 879 MBps read and 909 MBps write so the claimed 1000 MBps speeds are likely achievable using the right settings. Well build solid device. no disappointment here. Great device for those photographers and video creation buffs out there!

Corrupted files
Worked great from 8/31 to 9/25. On that day I had corrupted files from a programming project I had been working ok. Extremely frustrated with the lost time. Luckily I keep backups so I only lost 2 days worth of work but for the cost I am extremely disappointed. Stay away if you value reliability. Going back to sandisk as I should have in the first place
