Seems to do the job well for the price. Cleaned my saddle up a treat

I have used saddle soap for many years more than I care to remember so I was interested to be asked to trial this small pot of saddle soap. It really is quite small but fine if you just wish to do an occassional bit of tack cleaning or leather cleaning.The first thing that struck me when I opened the pot was the smell, it smells slightly different from other similar soaps I have used in the past. Apart from the it is a creamy colour and similar consistency. In use it seems to work the same and gives a nice finish on the leather.I do wonder how long the pot will last, it is not strong and is made of thin plastic.

look this review is actually about the pot it comes in mostly, its a useless thin plastic thing(like the little pots your yoghurt sauce comes in from the indian lol) -wish I'd bought the saddlesoap in a proper container thats all

This is a small tub of leather soap, but a little goes a long way, so this pot lasts longer than expected. The plastic tub it comes in is pathetic though - thin and flimsy. To be honest, this would put me off ordering again in the future, unless the price was significantly lower than similar products.The product itself is great. I’ve used this on 3 pairs of leather boots and a leather jacket, with great results. The jacket has been hanging in a room where I dry my laundry using a dehumidifier, so the leather had become quite dry. This soap has cleaned and conditioned everything well, making everything look near-new, and more supple.Pleased with the product, but not so with the packaging.
