Best Kept Secret
This makes a huge difference in my hair care routine. I've got balayaged hair and it gets brittle blond ends, I can't brush my hair after I wash it without tons of bird nests and witch's hair, and breakage. And I wash my hair with shampoo + conditioner and use Olaplex 1 & 2 at the salon and, 0 & 3 at home. That's a lot of money. But in between the salon and Olaplex weekly diy treatments, this balm restores and moisturizes insanely well.I will wash and use an extra conditioner, squeeze out the excess water so it doesn't make the balm runny. I will apply the balm and then leave it in while I shower or shave my legs. If I do a small amount for my beyond the shoulder hair daily, that is a really good way to rehydrate if you bleach at home. Otherwise so daily if you can afford it. Then on my night off I will shampoo and condition, towel dry, apply a nice amount staying off the scalp unless bleached to scalp, and gently put my hair up so it doesn't break. If your hair is really damaged, my secret is to do all the above but use Biolage oil first, then the Fructose balm, then olive oil to seal it all in. I leave mine on while I do housework. Sometimes I will run errands with it in just put a hat on. And I will even sometimes fall asleep with it in. Just put saran wrap around it and a towel on your pillow. The olive oil and the balm together are amazing if you can't get the Biolage. It just helps solve the tangles.I hope my experience helps. The only reason I don't add coconut oil is I'd slip in the tub rinsing it out. But I'm going to keep experimenting. Cheers to better hair!In addition I wanted to add that if your hair is tangly after washing and conditioning, I started using Amika Wizard. It is so good! Spray on your knots before brushing while hair is damp, and voila! A few gentle strokes and it's so silky smooth!

Great product
The conditioner is thick. It leaves my hair soft and easy to comb.

I like to stretch it by mixing with other stuff
Otherwise, I'd say this is too costly. What I do is mix a scoop of this up with a combination of oils (almond, argan, coconut, jojoba, sometimes olive), honey, and sometimes aloe vera. I really like this product, but between it not coming full and the company doing that a-hole design thing where the bottom indents inward to make it seem like there's more than there is, the jar is pretty deceptive. It also doesn't come with any kind of safety seal, which is... well, it's weird. BUT, I'm not overly concerned about it for these purposes. If I only used this mask on my hair, in the amounts I'd need to, to really coat my hair-- and I have hair a bit on the thin side-- then I'd go through this stuff way too fast and get cranky about the cost. Since I spread it out, though, it seems a bit more reasonable. Bought a second jar and will probably keep with it.

Improvement after one application, but three minutes isn't enough!
I have the killer combo of thick hair and early greys--which means I need lots of dye and heat. Obviously my hair became pretty dry and damaged. Every other mask I tried worked like regular conditioner with lackluster results. I was about to give up on having soft, healthy hair again. The Garnier mask made a big improvement, but I do have some side notes:*The 3 minutes in the instructions is no where near enough. Instead, after my shower, I towel dried my hair and ran the mask through my hair (maybe a quarter-sized amount). Then I wrapped it in a hot towel and waited thirty minutes. Afterwards I rinsed it out, applied some argan hair oil, and blow dried on medium heat.*My hair isn't perfectly soft, but it's a huge improvement over how it felt before. It's also still a bit dry. I'm going to continue using this mask probably 2-3 times a week. I'll come back and edit my review to see how it feels after a few months.* The smell does stick. I think it's nice (smells like honey and vanilla), but I know can be a downside for some.

Everyone’s hair is different, but I have wavy medium textured hair , Works great for the first few times but then is very drying after a few weeks of using it once weekly.
