Value for money, not sticky very lightweight

I had spotty pink itchy rash on my shoulders and back. Dermatologist diagnosed it as atopic dermatitis (Eczema). Dr had me on steroid cream and I knew I had to get off that stuff. Over the course of several years and trying many other products, this is what works best for me:- After drying off from short warm shower (not hot), apply a small amount to affected areas and spread it around so it will mostly dry and soak in a bit. I had to use a rounded spatula to get my upper back.- After a few minutes apply Desitin diaper rash cream on top of the Cetaphil and rub it in until it mostly disappears. Be careful, little goes a long way. The Cetaphil moisturizes and the Desitin locks it in.That's my routine and it has kept me off the steroid cream for 1/2 a year now. I don’t have eczema but very sensitive skin, and sometimes get bumps on my arms or legs, or shaving bumps, or heat rash from riding my bike or running in 90 plus degrees. It’s also super humid in Florida! I’ve spent upwards of $50-$100 on lotions, potions, serums, etc. until my dermatologist recommended this line of products and my skin has been much better after only a month! I felt relief immediately from dry itching and my feet are are even soft and smooth. I’m amazed! I do miss the myriad of smells from my face wash, body wash, and lotions, but I can always wear perfume and it’s definitely worth having skin I love again! PS I am in my 40’s and the face products have done more to smooth wrinkles, add a youthful glow and turn back the clock than Botox ever did.

This moisturizer is fantastic. It's lightweight, does not feel greasy, and soothes my eczema-prone skin. While it doesn't cure my eczema, the moisturizer seems to help with the flaking and keeps my skin in better balance. I think this moisturizer would also be great for anyone without eczema, but prone to breakouts. Although I would have preferred to not have eczema, obviously, I am happy I found this product. This was the moisturizer I was looking for most of my life.

this does work well, BUT; the dispenser is horrible, get about half empty and the push dispenser can't pick up any more cream. shake, flail about, nope,, gotta poke about inside, such a waste. Fun fact; the lid of another Cetaphil moisturized is a squeeze bottle type and THATS a good fix.

(wife's review) I don't often write reviews but I wanted to share success! I have had large patches of eczema on my hands, legs and feet for several years. The patches were large, itchy, sometimes painful and embarrassing. I have tried multiple products and diet changes that only provided minimal temporary relief. I have been using this Cetaphil Pro Eczema Soothing Moisturizer lotion in combination with the Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar for several weeks. It's been a game changer! I use the soap consistently but I'm not always good about applying the lotion. Nonetheless over the last several weeks the eczema has almost cleared. It no longer itches and is only visible if I look hard for it. I expect it to clear completely as I continue to use both products. I'm extremely happy with these products.

I have been using this for almost a decade! My little one started out with baby acne and nothing else helped it. I tried Aquaphor, Eucerin, Aveeno etc. Everything dried out my baby's skin. I found this and since I already used the soap it was worth a shot. Now our cabinets dont live without it! The winter really dries up my now almost pre-teen (as my little one would say) and we use this twice a day for a few days the cracking and dry skin disappears, you will start to see a change right away. Not sure why the kid doesnt love lotion so this is definitely needed during those transitioning months.

I received samples of Cetaphil Pro lotion and body wash at dermatologist. I bought both and I have to say it is better on my psoriasis then the medication I have gotten in the past. I advice you buy it and see for yourself. Item is pricey but well worth it and a little goes a long way. Wish I had taken before and after pics of my skin but had no idea how well this was going to work on relieving my dry scaly skin patches. Hope it continues to improve my skin and not stop working like other products in the past that have initially worked then my condition over powered it. If that does happen I will edit with any updates. In the meantime, I will enjoy my new found confidence.
