Leave a little space at the top of each cube to allow for expansion without expanding so much as to lift the lid off.2. Freeze on flat surface. These don’t do well just sitting on the grating in a freezer shelf.3. While you can stack these, the lids are also silicon so there is some give to them. I would advise against stacking if you want them all to freeze evenly.4. If the cubes become attached to one another at the top do not panic. It will only be a very thin layer of ice which will break off easily.5. Easy extraction from the molds. I recommend releasing them all at the same time. Place a small bowl under the mold and press from the bottom of each cube - one at a time! Use the metal frame around the top to provide a little extra leverage if you need it.6. Use the metal frame around the top when you’re filling and carrying these! Truly it’s the best improvement on silicon ice trays ever!7. The cubes are perfectly sized so that if you fill and release all three trays they will “Tetris” into a 1.5-gallon freezer zip bag and lay flat for storage. Seriously, you’re going to like this perk.

I love these things.. I wanted to know if you could stack them before they are frozen and nobody mentioned it in reviews! We'll, you can ! Lol I wouldn't stack more than 2 high but you can fill them and stack in freezer yes🥰 and just peel and push them out easy peezy.. I filled and froze for 2 days filling up my ice bin lol. If I can, I will come back with a video ...

I used these to collect the juice from the fruit of the lemon tree in my back yard. If I recall correctly, it took a couple dozen (big) lemons to fill all three trays. I then popped them into the freezer for long term storage.A month or two later, I grabbed 1 tray, popped out the cubes (very easy, no problem) into a pitcher and washed out the tray for future use (next harvest). I added about 6 cups of water, and 1 cup of Splenda. I put the whole pitcher outside into the sun. The pulp settled to the bottom, but a quick stir before pouring fixed that up. End result was some delicious, chilled, tart, lemonade with almost no sugar (maybe a few grams per glass at most).Highly recommend.

Love it. I had a different brand for several years & it suddenly got to where the ice was sticking to the silicone. That being said I looked around, found these & decided to try them. The selling point for these though is that, each I've cube can easily be ejected from the tray by simply pushing it upward. Super convenient & easy, I love them!

These make nice cubes but seem a bit fragile and wobbly when putting them in the freezer. Once frozen they release the cubes well.The picture shows my first attempt at making the cubes using filtered, boiled water.

These are amazing, freezes quickly, has a lid, and keeps my water tumbler ice cold all day and night. Would definitely order again

Okay, so I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the name brand Souper Cubes, and while these may not be as large, they hold a half cup per compartment. Once frozen, one dozen will fit in a standard gallon bag easily. The embedded metal rim is AWESOME, they are easy to move from counter to freezer without slopping over or collapsing and easier to clean with this rigid edge. The lids are a perfect fit and eliminate the need for plastic wrap to protect the contents in the freezer. They held up to being filled with simmer-warm bone broth, and were easy to dislodge the frozen cubes the next day. They stacked nicely in the freezer, which I credit the metal rim and those snug lids, for this ease of storage. They cleaned up in a snap- I did wash them by hand because of previous experiences with silicone taking on the smell and flavor of dishwasher soap when washed in that fashion. Terrific product, very pleased with my purchase!

These are the only silicone ice cube trays I have ever gotten that have a metal rim around the top! That makes the lid stay on, and it makes it easy to carry to the freezer! I will never have to put cardboard under these to carry them to the freezer.The "pockets" that hold the ice seem flimsy, but that's exactly what you want: something thin so you can easily push the ice cubes out.Just remember to leave air space, because the liquid will expand as it turns to ice. Truthfully, though, I bought these to put liver in. I don't like liver, but sometimes I crave it - but a whole serving is too large. I figure if I fill these about half full, that would be about a serving for me. After freezing, I will dump the liver in a freezer bag for storage.If I needed more, I wouls definitely buy more of these.
