I bought this for my teenage nephew. It is a great gift. He can say that he got throwing axes for Christmas and I know he won’t destroy anything with them. The blade of the throwing axe is thick, but fairly lightweight, and has a strip of Velcro along it. The throwing stars are also as thick with Velcro all the way around it.

This set is simple and small. It comes in a very simple, unmarked box cardboard box. I was mostly shocked at how small the axes were. It would fit perfectly in a toddler's hand. Nevertheless, it is amusing and fun but the throwing items are lightweight.

This game is easy to set up. You can mount the 26-inch diameter target using the provided glass suction cup on a window or glass door; otherwise, a small nail on a wall. The throwing items, which are plastic and light weight, have a Velcro-like material glued to them that adhere to the felt target.I cannot give this game set the highest rating due to one minor issue - the Velcro-like material does not stay on the throwing objects very well (see picture of dart where it came off). This minor issue aside, the game is simple, easy to set up, and will keep children (and adults) occupied.

Originally, we got these "foam axe throwing game" for our daughter's outdoor birthday party. However, since it's been windy lately, I don't think it'll work.Nonetheless, for indoor use, this is great. However, none of the material is actually foam. They are made out of plastic with some Velcro strips except for the target piece (soft cloth / thin fleece type of material).This works well to teach our 3 year old how to throw and aim balls. There are many different ways to play it.We will be starting off with putting the target on the floor. This will help us teach her to aim as the balls stick on first contact (doesn't roll around at all). It will also help us with simple addition and subtraction games.Next time we play this, the target will be hanging on a door handle and we will continue to only use the balls. Since she is still young, I can already hear her giggling in excitement over simple activities like this.The week after, we will use only darts with the target hanging on the door handle (since she is short, it is the perfect height for this game). In a few weeks/months, we can use the nugget couch to make a slanted target (see images) so she can also throw the star and axes.Since we do Montessori style toy rotation, I can see us getting many hours of entertainment and joy out of this by introducing each different objects (and other side of the target) one at a time.The different colors of the balls and darts are great for identifying different players. We'll probably keep this set indoors though since I doubt the target piece is machine washable.

This dart board is very versatile and fun for all ages. Not only can it be used as a dart board but you can also throw axes, stars, and balls at it. They stick to the board with Velcro so it is a very safe toy.This is something that would be great in a dorm room or even in a child’s room because it is not dangerous.It is definitely a toy, but it is good quality, and I think it would make a great gift for a child or an adult.I rate this product, five out of five stars for quality, versatility, and stickiness.

I received this all inclusive ax throwing game and was slightly disappointed by it. First off, It came in a small disapointing box, but it includes quite a bit of stuff in that box. Everything can stick to the target board game when you throw it. Another thing that's disappointing is that there's nothing included to hang the target board up with. So you are going to have to figure out a way to hang this up yourself. The game itself, is fun, once you figure out how to set it up.Everything is soft and safe, including the axes in this game. Overall, although, it is a fun game to play, it is a pain to figure out how to set it up for the first time. But once you do that, you got it made.

The media could not be loaded. My kids had a blast with this in the basement and it’s a great game addition to get out their energy inside now that we’re in the winter months. We hung it next to our actual dartboard (which needs adult supervision), so they can play this on their own whenever they want.Set comes with a reversible target, 12 balls, 12 darts, 2 mini axes and 2 mini ninja stars. The kids love the axe and ninja star pieces the most but they often don’t stick, which is why the kids suggested knocking down a star. The target comes with a suction cup for mounting, but there’s no way I’m putting this on a glass surface and then having kids throw plastic axes at it, no matter how small. We ended up finding a small peg to hang it on temporarily and will probably just add a small push pin or nail to keep it where we want it to go long-term.Side note: I like that they don’t realize they are doing math when they add their points!

This set is really fun. Our two boys love it most. The two sided dart board is great-one side you can do throwing stars or axes and the other side you can play darts. It's super fun for the whole family. PLUS, it's soft, so no damaging the walls. It comes with an easy carry bag you can keep it all stored in when not using it and can use it inside or out making it great for all year round play.
