does what it says on the tin
Does everything you would want from my book like. It lights your book. What else would you need? Battery life is exceptional and the size is just about perfect.

good lighting
I ordered this so I could read in bed at night and not disturb my spouse. Previous lights I tried didn't give off the needed light and I found myself struggling to read the words (I even went in to get my eyes checked!). Then I tried this light, which gives off a good amount of light while still not keeping my spouse up, and I am able to read the same books I was struggling with previously. The light attaches to your book and you can also adjust as you go. Very happy with this simple solution!

Much needed light for reading
Clamp to the book is good. My only negative I see is, the light should be shielded a little more. However, my wife is the user and finds no problem with the light.

Works, but a little heavy for paperback books
I bought this because since I started menopause- my sleep had been a mess. I decided to get off the electronics and read 30 minutes to an hour before bed. This required me to use my ceiling light. I do not have space on my nightstand for a small light, so I was looking for something to clip to my headboard or nightstand- but bought this since it was LED, affordable and portable. I used it for the first time last night and it was great. The room around me was dark, so that aided in getting me into sleep mode. I wish it was a bit lighter, but since it is a clip- you can make it work. It is bright enough to read by but doesn't light up 2' all around you- which was what I wanted. The fact that is is adjustable is great to make sure it was lighting up both pages and that I could turn the pages without the light being in the way :)

Very convenient, great product
I've used similar devices that needed batteries, and loved them... other than the batteries. This device, though, USB chargeable is the best. Works perfectly for nigh time reading. Great product!

Read my first 500 pages with it
I find it works great for me. The clip holds the pages to the cover making it less taxing to hold thick books up while reading in bed for LOOONG hours (6-8 straight). I have been using it extensively and I like the flexible neck allowing it to be positioned however you need to focus the bright light on the pages not your eyes. I had no issues with the length of the neck, its flexible but not floppy or sloppy, and I like that it runs on a CR2032 battery that can be bough for a dime a dozen. I find that I can read better and way longer with the bright LED than overhead lights which bother my eyes after a few hours plus I am trading a light bill for a 25 cent battery. What's not to love. I will be getting another one and leaving it in the camper for the summer trips ahead. The clip is sturdy and doesn't pop off as long as you clip it on at least half the way up the clip. Last night I was reading a Dean Koontz novel late, was really into it and didn't clip it on very far so it popped off with a lightning fast fling thumping me in the head startling the crap out of me. That's what you get for reading spook novels at 3 a.m. I guess. Anyways I haven't found anything to detract from it so unless it dies an early death, we have a winner for now.

Pretty good
I really loved this book light at first. It’s lightweight, easy to adjust, and super bright. I found that it easily lit up both pages of any book I’ve read with it. The battery life is ok but not great. I read about 1-1.5 hours 5-6 nights a week. I’ve had to change the batteries twice which seems like kind of a lot considering I purchased this in the beginning of April and it’s now almost late June. The reason for a 3 star rating is based on the battery life, changing the batteries, and durability. Changing the batteries is kind of difficult. I am pretty handy and know my way around a screwdriver and some screws. These ones are really small and they come tightened extremely tight. They were pretty difficult to get out and even harder to reinsert and tighten. I noticed every now and then that I would try to turn on the light and it would flicker and turn off until I turned it off and on again. Now after the second battery change it’s becoming more difficult to use. It’s not turning on consistently and also flickers off each time I use it at random times. The first time it happened I tried tightening the screws and that worked for the rest of that night. But as of last night it was flickering again and I couldn’t tighten the screws anymore. I had to re-angle the light so it was basically shining in my eyes to get it to stay on but even then it flickered off a few times.TL;DR: a good light overall. Bright and easy to adjust. Battery life isn’t that great and battery changes are difficult. Durability seems to suck and flickers after 2 months use.

Nice Little Reading Lamp
This is a very simple lamp to use for reading in bed during the night. It clips onto the book you're reading, and you simply turn the light on with a little slight switch. However, for my reading purposes, I wish the light was a little brighter. As it is, the light does not spread over the entire page, leaving the sides of the print in a shadow. But it does beat a Kindle where the background is very bright and gives off a blue light which is not good for the eyes and can cause sleeping problems. Other than that, I can readily recommend this product for those of you to love to read in the bed in a dark room.
