My machine was "dancing all over the place. Things did not start off right and it hasn't ended yet. installation was literally a pain. My machine does not have any locations where I could place a level would work properly other than the bottom edge of the machine. I had to improvise by lifting it off the floor so that I could place the shoes on the legs. Yes, and to continue my steek of bad luck the shoes I purchased were not the right size. Installed anyway (had a backup of laundry to do) and started washing. Machine did not dance as much as it previously had. I was able to complete all my washing and needless to say I will be back online looking for proper size shoe (wish me luck).

Works with old Maytag washer
I bought a set of these to use with my 15 year old Maytag washing machine. I can barely hear the washer running now, and the noises are certainly not from the vibration of the cylinder.They fit well with the existing feet on my washer and are thick enough that I don't foresee any durability issues. I've been running for 4 months and they look like I took them out of the package.

Not effective for me...
Seller description says the pads eliminate washing machine walking. I disagree. Our laundry room has a polished concrete floor and the washer would wander during the spin cycle. I tipped the washer on its back and checked the old pads. The rubber was hard and the textured bottom of the old pads was worn, so I figured new pads might work. I carefully leveled the washer from side to side and front to back and installed the new pads. Washer did well for a few days, but has started wandering again. I think the problem with these pads is that they are mostly hollow on the bottom and there's not enough rubber material to grip the floor.
