This is my second time buying this cable, as the first one got stolen. I bought several of these cables to connect a new set of powered monitors. They were intended as semi-permanent cables: I won't be constantly winding and unwinding them, and they're unlikely to even be disconnected more than a handful of times. Strain relief is quite adequate for this particular application, and the basic requirement of passing signal is well-met. For location recording, I suspect I'd be willing to spend more money for hardier cables, but I wouldn't hesitate to keep a couple of these in my kit for the odd spot mic. Good value for the low price.

Cable works as designed and the length is just right for my little music room. Quality, thinkness of the cable is good for the price. Overall, a good value for the money.

This is a nice mic cable. I used it for audio rather than a microphone and it did a good job. I gave it only 4 stars for durability only because it is a small diameter and might not take the heavy abuse heavier cables might take.
